Read moreSo my wife and I visit this place, at LEAST once a month. If our finances are solid, we actually try to go once a week, so it's really based on that, BUT, now after having been...idk...20 times now?, 30 times now?, I feel like it's time to mention them. We always have the same server, and she is very friendly, and attentive, as well as remembers 'the regulars' to where you feel like the fact your always coming back, matters to some aspect. I personally have tried other things, whereas my wife kind of sticks to her tried and true thing she loves. So far, I have loved everything I've had. I normally get the Big Tex with eggs over easy, with a side of bacon. But I've also had their pork belly sandwich, their chicken and waffles, as well as their version of the 'build your breakfast' (I can't remember what they call it) but the bottom line to me, is their cook is on point, the food always tastes great, and while the dining room may look 'old' or 'dated' to some, at the end of the day, I'm coming for good home cooking, and this is where it is. In the interest of supporting local restaurants, this one can bank on me maintaining at a MINIMUM of 1 visit per month, and as finances permit, we'll be there at least once a week, as I truly love the food, and it's a go to for us living just down the street. :) Oh and the ONLY reason I would say '4' on atmosphere, is that I know to moost, they'd enter here and feel it's to stale/bland/old but to me, I love the wall they have where you can 'leave your mark' as well as the fact simple is good to me in most cases. Your here to eat good food, not to bask in an amazing dining room with overpriced trash so I feel the atmosphere is fine, but I can understand why some wouldn't feel that way, so thats the only reason I put a 4, just for context . Oh and, being it's now in the recommended dishes, I recommend having the big tex, with eggs over easy, and you'll be golden. MAYBE you'll need to throw some salt and pepper on it, but me personally, it's...
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Marias Place and I was thoroughly impressed with their delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service. The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, making it the perfect spot for a family meal or a casual get-together with friends.
The highlight of my dining experience was their delectable pork belly egg breakfast sandwich. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and perfectly paired with a fluffy egg and crispy bacon. The entire sandwich was assembled on a toasted bun, creating a mouthwatering combination of flavors.
The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.
One of the most impressive features is their dedicated child play area. This allows parents to enjoy their meal while their children have fun and play safely. The play area is well-equipped with toys and activities, ensuring that kids will have a blast.
Overall, I highly recommend Maria's Place for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying dining experience. Their tasty food, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service make it an unforgettable culinary experience. I can't wait to...
Read moreWalking in the layout of the restaurant seems very cheap and awkward. It looks like they used peel and stick floor tiles on top of the tables. I ordered the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a pancake as well as a chicken biscuit. My boyfriend got the brisket sirloin burger with fries. For my order, $8 is insane for the size of the chicken biscuit. Not only that but yall need to work on the recipe for the biscuits. There is way too much flour it's like eating sand. My scramled eggs was more like an egg pancake that was only cooked on one side and it wasn't cooked all the way through and the bacon was burnt. My bfs "brisket sirloin' was just a regular burger with a fancy name slapped onto it. He said it wasn't good but it wasn't the worst. The only thing we really enjoyed was the fries and the pancake. And the fries are not house made which is a shame. The price is definitely not worth the quality and we will choose to stay away from this place for now. Our server was the best part of the whole experience overall, thank...
