Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Copperas Cove

Went there this afternoon and observed no people inside nor cars in the parking but yellow tape like crime scene tape draping the entire business except the drive thru window. Decided to drive up to the window and look in instead of stopping at the speaker menu. Looked in and there was an attendant who appeared surprised. She opened the window, and I asked her if the business was open. She never said hi, how are you or anything nice. Seemed like i was interrupting something. She finally said 'yes' with more bewilderment on her face. I asked what the yellow tape was around the building and she again seemed annoyed and answered "I don't know", very hesitant to reply. I said, you don't know and you work here? She did not answer. I said, can you take my order?, and she rudely said, " I'm listening." I then summed this lady was no good to deal with and I said "just forget it" and she slammed the window shut and I could read the vulgar expletive on her lips! Wow, this place has been deteriorating the last few times I've gone but this time is the last. I went to the Lampasas Schlotzsky's from there and made my order and the service was great. I asked them if the cove location was run by the same franchise and she said no. Different owner. I said good. The service there has really gotten bad. I said too bad I had to drive another 20 miles to enjoy...

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

How is this place even still open??? How are you a sandwich shop with NO bread and NO turkey? That’s like pulling up to a gas station and them saying, “Oh, we’re out of gas.” Completely useless.

And THEN they had the audacity to charge me twice. So I call up there to let them know, and the girl answers with the driest, most unprofessional “ok.” Like ??? Hello??? Say something. Pretend you care. Pretend you work there. SOMETHING.

I tell her I need a refund and she says, “You have to come in person with your receipt.” Which is hilarious because SHE NEVER GAVE ME A RECEIPT.

I ask, “So you can’t refund me without me coming all the way back?” and she literally says, “No, I don’t know how to do all that.” Oh okay… so y’all are just hiring people who don’t know how to do the basic job now.

So I ask to speak to someone who actually knows what they’re doing, and she hits me with, “She’s out sick.” I ask when she’ll be back. She said, “Probably tomorrow but I can’t guarantee it.” Girl… what kind of back yard, circus clown business is this??

Y’all don’t have bread, don’t have turkey, don’t have receipts, don’t have managers, and CLEARLY don’t have any clue how to run a business.

Never again. Y’all got me once. But NEVER again. Except on my bank account… twice.

I went in Today with my daughter about 5 minutes ago and order 2 pepperoni pizzas because they were half on after 5 o clock. The two boys who were at the register didn’t greet up they were EXTREMELY RUDE and had no customer service whatsoever. They were speaking very loudly and being very unprofessional. Comments about pepperonis being left on the floor, making sounds like they were spitting in the food , comments about putting roofies in the pizza and cussing in the back with the 2 other coworkers. They were handing out free food to girls who came in and didn’t order food . When we asked for ranch the boy with the blonde curly hair said “this is all we got” with an aggressive tone . When my daughter saw that she had a piece of hair in her food she went up front and they ignored her said she ate half of the pizza and she won’t get a refund. Shortly after I went up there to see what was going on and I asked for the general manager’s information and he snatched the receipt and wrote “Mistie” on it with a phone number that wasn’t in service.
