Bar 21 — Restaurant in Copperhill

Wow, where do I begin? Stopped in to Bar 21 after taking the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. GM Deena was behind the bar. I had an ice cold local IPA draft. My friend had a house pinot. We also ordered their charcuterie board, a great value. The bar is cozy, with a New Orleans vibe. Beautifully decorated. Great prices. Live entertainment on Saturday nights. But, most interesting is their Speakeasy room for those with the password. Elegant. Classy. See photos. This bar is worth a visit. Deena is awesome!...

Who'd have thunk it? My partner remarked after we walked in, "If you had blindfolded me and brought me in to this bar and took the blindfold off, I would have thought that I was in a modern Speakeasy in NYC". The staff is very friendly. Russ was an awesome bartender. My only suggestions is that you title your drink menu as more than just "Classic Cocktails". Your drinks are so much more than that! Might I suggest, "Cocktails, Concoctions and Libations'? Definitely our new favorite bar...

What can I say that hasn't been said? We are locals and have been going to this bar since it opened. The first time we visited, my husband said that if I had taken him to the bar blindfolded and then taken the blindfold off, he would have thought that he was in a bar in New York City!
