WOW! Bet you're craving to sucker punch my stomach that happens to STILL BE HURTING after eating whatever you folks SERVED a week ago. Your reply is contemptuous, vehement, and disturbing. Any restaurant OWNERS who viciously attack Customer opinions prove how mean spirited they are towards everyone they choose not to like but, are totally okay about stealing from 🤯 Also, DON'T ALLOW places to 'force' a TIP when ordering. It's twisted especially when it's their decision about what you're gonna end up with. There's only a few choices in Copperhill & my friend won't eat Mexican. Besides what did they mean when they mentioned a camera? IF they need to watch they ought to review how many times they're RUDE, MEAN, & unfriendly to folks who PAY to keep the doors open. They did replace sandwich with a burger which after 2 bites I asked for a box so I could investigate what made me so sick. I took pics, hard to tell if it's old grease, dirty lettuce & tomato, or who knows what. Oh, I did want to mention when I noticed their REPLY the pics of the CHEESE STICKS reminded how the perfectly crispy batter was incredibly delicious. I hope 🙏❤️🙏 those weren't what caused getting sick. Eating - anywhere is presumed to be SAFE & satisfying (ok, satisfying could be expecting too much). It's just awful whenever pain and discomfort are part of the experience. Good luck with business. Please remember TIPS are GIFTS expressing gratitude for a mutually positive experience. Owners that are RUDE, mean, unfriendly, & critical of their Customers are suspicious of putting something BAD into everything they touch & SERVE. But, don't ever change those cheesesticks. God Bless ALL who SERVE FOOD 🙏💞🙏 to a completely 'trusting' Public. Whenever food places screw up just GET REFUND. Don't give them any chance to make it worse. Like I said before DON'T...
Read moreMy mom and I visited The Copper Grill last month while riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. When the train emptied there was a sea of people rushing to different restaurants to try to have time to eat & shop before getting back on the train. We rushed down the street to The Copper Grill & patiently waited outside to go in & place our order. A waitress came out & made a loud & angry sounding announcement for everyone to keep the door to the restaurant closed while waiting so as not to let the cool air out & flies in (smart thinking but maybe could have said it nicer). Once I made it inside to order the cashier was very nice and answered all my questions while ordering. I sent my mom to scope us out a table since you must seat yourself. We ended up sitting outside since the entire restaurant was packed. During lunch I witnessed a waitress come outside and move a younger woman’s drink & car keys from an empty table and informed the young girl that she could not sit at an entire table by herself since they had a family with small children waiting inside to sit down. The young girl got upset and she left with the group of guys she was with (who had already finished eating at the table next to hers & were literally just taking up space at that point). I was both shocked and impressed by this waitress for making sure the family with children who actually ordered food already had a place to sit. The food came out FAST and was HOT and delicious. These hard working folks definitely know how to run a business during a lunch rush. We had the fried catfish with fries, coleslaw and fried onion petals. I would definitely stop by again if...
Read moreDue to the train depot unloading scenic travel passengers in town, this place was packed with long ordering lines. We got the last table available outside (inside was standing room only). You order at the registers and then someone finds you and brings you your food. You fill up your own drinks. Where the drinks are is also where the staff is walking back and forth and people for the bathrooms. It is such a narrow area, that you have to stand side ways to let others pass. Needless to say, you will not want to get a refill on your beverage! The staff that we encountered were very friendly. The food was not that great (at least what we got). We both got the club panini with seasoned fries. The fries were fine dipped in barbeque sauce (sauces other than ketchup, mustard, and mayo, are charged $.50). The panini was not something that either of us would get ahead. I thought it was okay, my husband thought it was terrible. The panini was not a panini (which is typically bread). It was a flatbread made into a panini, and it was hard and tasteless. The sandwiches were drowned in pesto mayo. It was almost impossible to eat, as it was just pouring out of all ends of the sandwich. Maybe we will try here again, but different...
