Antojitos Esmeralda — Restaurant in Coral Springs

Update: Just reiterating how addicted we are to their food! Always so fresh and "delicious" just does not do it justice. We get food here at least once a week and rotate between tacos, tamale, gordita and torta cubana. My husband also had the enchilada verde when we ate in and he loved it.

I was born and raised in Malaysia so I am extremely picky with food (this is a huge understatement) but Antojitos is my number one Latin restaurant in all the 17 years I've been here in the USA. The staff is also extremely friendly and always has a smile on their face. Keep up the amazing job!

We always get the chicken and pork tamales, tacos and chicken/carne asada gorditas. Consistently delicious, every time.

Finally had a chance to stop by for take out. Picked up every type of taco, short rib steak, quesadilla, and tostadas. Recommend getting the cheek taco, those were amazing. Their green sauce was a great topping and the grilled green peppers were a spicy welcome addition. Watching them make everything to order including the tortilla was nice as you could see how clean their cooking / prep area was and how little time anything sat around. I watched them go through several bundles of cilantro and onions as they prepped orders along with a giant box of limes. Highly recommend trying them out, just be aware it is made to order so it may take a few minutes.

Amazing hole in the wall restaurant. My girlfriend is from California, and if there's one thing about California is how good and authentic the Mexican food is there. She spotted this place because all she saw was a sign that said "Mexican Restaurant" from the road. She said there was a 50/50 chance that this place is either the worst food ever or it absolutely bangs. Needless to say it absolutely bangs. She nearly cried from how authentic and right everything was. The quesabirria tacos were out of this world. The staff are very nice and welcoming, very attentive, and there's a great selection of cane sugar imported...
