So I’ve really come to like this place because my roommate showed it to me and we just started to get tacos almost all the time especially during COVID times (the whole shut down time/era).

However, it’s starting to become a hit or miss with the food (95% of the time we only get tacos) but it’s really sad because we don’t look forward to it as much. Sometimes our carne asada is just weird or too chewy or too much fat.

Today I ordered tacos and wanted only cilantro on them and lemon on the side. My taco as had no cilantro. Which made me super sad because that’s one of the tastes I love in tacos. In addition my lemon wedges were bad. Barely had any juice and THEY WERE COMPLETELY BROWN AND WEIRD/NASTY LOOKING :( I ended up taking a super late lunch today. My manager was getting Tijuana Flats but I used to love this place’s tacos so much that I decided I would go here. It was upsetting that I was missing key ingredients to what I consider delicious tacos.

I really hope this doesn’t happen again for whenever I come back. We never said anything before because we figured it’s more work to go back to get it fixed or they were already closed because we usually ordered 30-45 minutes before their closing time. The majority has been good. But, today just did it for me because I really wanted some good tacos and I was starving and I didn’t have time to call and come back because I was on my...

Ok ! Thought I would enjoy some Mexican Food.Looked at reviews,El Paso Restaurant great let me check it out after all I'm from Texas and LA California.I know Mexican Food !!! Decorations Definitely Mexican, however that's where it all goes south.I ordered $62.00 worth of food, figuring I would eat some now and the rest tomorrow.I ordered enchiladas, tacos, (2) orders of chilli and (1) order of fajitas.I got home opened the bags of food and the nightmare begins.Food was clumped in separate styrofoam containers with zero condiments. My tacos were clumped in with the beans and rice, the enchiladas were smothered in cheese and red sauce with micro pieces of meat hidden within. The fajitas wher a big clump of on top of the beans and rice that came with the order. The chilli was not the standard Mexican or Tex/Mex chilli.Chillis Restaurant makes good Chilli. How do you screw up chilli ???? The first time I have seen Mexican chilli with beans in it.Apprarently their clients aren't familiar with Mexican Food the only reason I could think of for this place being in business.Taste like salted cr__.I have no reason to cast negative dispersions on This Restaurant.I wrote this long article out of shear disappointment and anger.I rated a Score of (1) because there was nothing lower to rate it.If Taco Bell's rating is on an average (3.1) This joint is a negative "Zero". Please...

A small place that packs in a lot of love.

In the world of tex mex family owned restaurants, competition is fierce and brutal. There are the beast of the game, chain restaurants who only see a bottom line, places that have made the dish so many times they forget what they taste like and who think that by packing in more TV's will give them a justification of making the meal more expensive.

El Paso is the opposite of that and I hope it stays that way for a long time. El Paso understand the beauty of going to a restaurant because it makes you full, sways your taste buds and makes you happy. El Paso is the place you pick when you aren't sure what you really want to eat. El Paso is the place that you and your friends go to but never tell anyone because you don't want it to be to crowded when you go.

My favorite dish is the baby palomino. I love the sauteed onion on it and the white rice that comes with it. I think the coke taste great here and the soup for lunch feels home made. The chips are always warm and dipped in really good salsa. The ambiance is welcoming and will one day be a nostalgic memory when I am old and losing my sense of taste.

Places like this do not come often, please...

I want to start by stating this is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. However, we went last night and found the two female members of the waitstaff working the dining room to be rude and standoffish from the moment we arrived. More than a little disappointing as this has never been the case. Went out of our way to be more friendly in hopes it wasn't us that created the disconnect, but confirmed they were indeed the issue by noticing similar interaction with the other guests nearby. If it wasn't for previous experiences being great we would have left and gone elsewhere to have dinner. The food was wonderful as usual and the young man who was running food was a pleasure to deal with. Nice kid, he should be recognized for it. Shame the others were not showing genuine concern like he was.
