The ideal sports bar. This place delivered on every level, providing an experience to remember on my cross country road trip. My expectations were admittedly low given the narrow selection of restaurants that were still serving food at the late hour we pulled in. We were seated right away and a drink order was placed before I had even gotten back from the bathroom. The atmosphere was everything you could ask for from your local dive bar and more. Darts leagues, 26 beers on tap, and Big Buck Hunter, this place had it all. I picked a burger off of the full slate of Big Ten themed sandwiches and went to work. The burger was fire and the fries reminded me of a slightly more seasoned version of the ones from Portillos (definitely a good product to be compared to). Wrap it up with speedy service with a smile and you’ve got a recipe for success. Don’t hesitate to stop by, it’s worth the visit.
