This must be one of the nastiest Wendy's I have ever set foot into! The first thing that hit me was a very pungent smell of fried food, like French fries. It was heavy, permeating the entire establishment. I had to use the restroom, and it was filthy, messy, papers on the floor everywhere. Then, I went to order my food. Nobody wears gloves here, nobody wears hair nets, there was a black male making the burgers with the biggest hair spiking in every direction, and nothing holding it from hairs falling into people's food. The floors were sticky from so much frying going on in there and, obviously, nobody cleaning the restaurant. The area where one goes to get the soda and condiments was covered in cardboard from a previous spill that nobody took the time to actually clean up. There was not one single napkin in any napkin holder. A heavy woman walked into the restaurant without shoes and went into the bathroom just like that. Although the restaurant was empty, I was the sole patron, my "fast food" took well over 20 minutes to prepare and, even then, I didn't get extra pickles in my burger as I had ordered. I actually couldn't wait to get out of there. It was like something out of the twighlight zone! PLEASE Wendy's, get this place overhauled. It is a...
Read moreWe stopped here as we were traveling through because I thought a frosty sounded good. As we were walking in, I seen a note on the door from the district manager giving her phone number and saying that she wanted to hear how their doing. I thought that was a little odd, you don't typically see that. The bathrooms were dirty and the TP was just sitting out of the holder. We ordered our food and the staff was SO incredibly rude and unfriendly. We were the ones saying 'thank you' and received no politeness in return. We ordered a frosty and received a small cup of vanilla ice cream. I'm from Iowa and when you order a frosty, you don't get vanilla ice cream. So I was a little confused and out of patience to even care. We left and I called the district manager as that paper on the door instructed and she sounded like she just woke up and seemed less than interested in hearing my comments. She mentioned maybe the frosty machine was broke and that could be why I got vanilla ice cream instead. Should they not have told me that instead of giving me a cup of vanilla ice cream? Maybe don't leave your number on the door asking for feedback if you don't truly care for them? Would never...
Read moreWe went through the drive through on a pass-through trip. We were the only car in line and the restaurant had no customers inside. However, when the attendant took our order her voice sounded irritated and unwelcoming. We specifically asked for no ice in our drinks but noticed both were full of ice. When the lady opened the window, my wife told her that they weren’t supposed to have ice in them. Her countenance became even more disgusted! She rolled her eyes as she turned her body to throw the full drinks both in the trashcan. She then proceeded to hand the new drinks to us with soda drenched all over the cups. She even smirked when my wife grabbed one and realized it was wet all over. By far this was the worse Wendy’s drive thru we have ever encountered. If the lady doesn’t want to be bothered by customers, then don’t work in a customer based business. I certainly hope this woman isn’t a manager. Wendy’s has the best breakfast out of all the fast foods, but if I’m in Cordele again, I will not be eating at their Wendy’s! The food, again, was good but the service brings the score down...
