Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, May's Eats promises a culinary adventure like no other. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of savoring two of their standout dishes: the Sesame Salad and Pesto Turkey Press.
The Sesame Salad at May's Eats is a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. Crisp mixed greens, toasted sesame seeds, and an array of fresh vegetables create freshness on the palate. The crowning glory is the tangy sesame dressing, which elevates every bite to a new level of satisfaction. Whether you're a devoted salad enthusiast or simply seeking a lighter option, this dish is sure to impress with its impeccable balance and depth of flavor.
Equally impressive is the Pesto Turkey Press, a comforting yet sophisticated sandwich that showcases May's Eats' commitment to quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship. Tender slices of turkey breast are layered with velvety pesto sauce and melted cheese, then gently pressed between slices of artisanal bread. The result is a culinary masterpiece that marries rich, savory flavors with the subtle freshness of herbs. Each bite is a revelation, offering a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that linger long after the last crumb is gone.
Beyond the exceptional food, May's Eats exudes warmth and hospitality, with attentive staff and a cozy ambiance that invites diners to linger and indulge. Whether you're dining solo or sharing a meal with loved ones, the atmosphere is perfect for creating lasting memories and savoring every moment.
In conclusion, my experience at May's Eats surpassed all expectations, thanks to the culinary mastery showcased in their Sesame Salad and Pesto Turkey Press. If you're in search of a dining destination that excels in both flavor and ambiance, look no further than May's Eats. You won't be...
Read moreThe food is good, but it's all reheated in the toaster oven after sitting in the display counter looking dry and unappealing. For the price you'd think it would be made fresh. Customer service is severely lacking as well. I want this place to do good because it's a small business, but a simple "hello" or "I'll be right with you" goes a long way. We were waiting on a drink and a to go box at one point, and the lady completely ignored us standing at the counter. We mentioned we just needed a to go box, we saw them sitting behind the counter and probably could have just grabbed one and she said it'd be a minute. She was literally right there and moving at a snail's pace peeking in the toaster oven, and said they were experiencing a "rush." It was 2 of us, and one other customer. Someone even came out from the back and she could have asked them to grab it. After we finished our meal and left the owner came out from the back. He should have been in front of house, especially if they were experiencing a rush from 3 people. I want to love this place, but they could use...

The food choices and portions were perfect for the occasion (thank you Eddie & Edie for the guidance). Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was seamless. And a great value. Definitely recommend for any catering occasion. I regret that I didn't get more photos of the food - it was laid out so prettily. Everyone was very impressed, and we ate like kings!
2021: Mays saved my sanity. We had friends coming to visit during a busy time, and they were able to whip up a menu on short notice that accommodated picky eaters. I asked for help right-sizing the portions and they were very helpful. I interacted mostly with James and Eddie. I'm a catering newb and they were so kind and pleasant to do business with. There are so few healthy restaurants within delivery range of Shady Shores - it's a blessing to have them in...
