We made reservation the day before, when we arrived, the table were ready for us. The server was very attentive and his service is superb! Salad bar was not elaborate, but has plenty of variety, all the ingredients were fresh. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. Fried fish fillets with coleslaw and hush puppies were tasty. The smothered hamburger steak with baked potato also got consumed, so, I am pretty sure they were good too. Waitresses were nice and very helpful!!! I ordered a 12oz steak and got a 10 for the price of a 12oz. I asked for a well done steak and got a half well done steak which I found out halfway through my meal by the time I found out they had already turned there grill offso I didn't bother sending it back bc I felt it should've been done right to begin with. I asked for a discount and was told no and that it was my fault I didn't send back but why would I send it back after the grill was turned off in the first place after they had already closed. Mills is a very low-key, simple steakhouse. We've been twice and the food was well prepared both times. The steaks are cooked well and the prices are fair. The menu is short and simple with no frills, just like the decor. The brat overall value is the 32oz sirloin for two. It provides an affordable date-night meal.
