Where do I start with letting everyone know this is such a great place to eat. I guess I'll start with saying I'm originally from PA (close to Old Forge where they call themselves the pizza capital of the world 🤷‍♀️... also not far from NY which come on... pizza is also good there!) I've heard it's amazing in other states/countries but I have yet to visit them. Anywho, I've lived near Raleigh, NC for over 3 years now and haven't really found good pizza yet, so it's not something I typically get to eat anymore. I was recently on vacation in the Outer Banks and while driving around my friend found this place to stop to eat at. I was hesitant at first. But... this place did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in to place my order, the lady behind the counter was a lovely nice person. We ordered just a regular plain pie so I didn't have high expectations to begin with. I say that because they have some great choices for specialty pizzas. (My friend is boring though when it comes to extras 😂) I let the woman know we'd be outside ( I didn't notice any seating inside plus I had my dog with me) and she said they would let me know when it was ready. I assumed she'd just open the door and yell out that it was ready. Nope. A nice gentleman carried it down the steps in the box with paper plates and napkins to the cute outdoor covered area where we were sitting. Immediately opened the box and it was piping hot, looked great too. Took my first bite...soooo good. I didn't need any garlic powder, salt, pepper, or whatever else we sometimes feel the need to put on our pizza. Lol. I'll end this long review with saying, you should definitely stop in if you are passing by or staying local and you're hungry! I didn't try anything else on menu but I'm sure everything is great! Can't wait to come back!

In May of 2022 we visited LIghthouse Pizza. This used to be Pasquale's Pizza - and when it initially changed ownership it was not great. We tried it again on our recent trip - and there has been a change again - for the better! This time, the pizza we ordered was FABULOUS! They even accommodated a special white pizza request that they had not made before. That pizza was so good we drove back to the shop just to tell them how good it was, and to add it as a regular menu item! It is not "NY pizza", so don't go in expecting that - but it is REALLY GOOD pizza. There were some guys right behind us raving about the food, and waiting for their 7 pizza order! The proprietor was extremely accommodating and we are looking forward to our late September trip to visit again for dinner! 7/16/22 UPDATE..My "special" white pizza with ricotta added to the pie along with tomatoes. Reheated from the freezer tonite and just as delicious as it was when we brought the leftovers home with us in May.

I walked inside and the first thing I saw was this gorgeous woman taking orders. I ordered a chicken parm while in shock. I walked outside and sat in there beautiful picnic tables. I took a bite into the chicken parm and in then moment my life was changed. I can’t even think about food without this chicken parm coming to mind. I would not recommend eating it because you will get addicted to the lighthouse pizza chicken parm. To the beautiful woman taking orders Thank you for changing my life.

Full disclosure, I am a local and I work here but I have never tried the items listed below. Also full disclosure I adore the Theiyers. They DO bring a warmth to wherever they go and offer a special hospitality that is not readily found in many restaurants.

We ordered: RAVIOLI-it was firm, the 3 cheese blend and the sauce were delicious, I will also add that portion wise we served 3 raviolis per person (4 ppl) and that was enough. I think 6 hungry people may not be satisfied however I do think 4-5 would be; GARLIC CHEESY BREAD-doneness was perfect, a personal preference would be a little more garlic and adding a side of sauce for dipping. Furthermore it was a perfect companion with the pasta; GREEK SALAD-fresh and crispy, the tomatoes were fresh and the Greek dressing was very tasty; GIANT COOKIE-although a little over browned, for my taste buds, which added a tiny amount of overdone flavor, it still was soft and gooey and very very good and was a complete hit at the table. The cookie will easily feed 8-12 ppl depending on how big the slice.

Bottom line, in my opinion the pizza is unrivaled. I think that the pasta will gain exposure and momentum over time and will become not only a local but also a visiting guest favorite. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a try next year. I really don't think...
