Coffee Shop No. 411 Banana Dog Cafe Corolla, NC September 5, 2024 After some cafe research in the Outer Banks, Banana Dog Cafe was the one cafes I knew I had to visit. Initially I was drawn to the name; I like dogs and bananas are one of my favorite fruits. Scrolling through Banana Dog Cafe’s social media I caught a glimpse of their bright and cheery yellow trailer which houses their cafe; this pretty much sealed the deal and the cafe moved to the top of my list of cafes to visit. Banana Dog Cafe is located in the front parking lot of Wild Horse Inn. Bright yellow bistro tables are lined up next to a white picket fence separating the parking lot and sidewalk. A perfect spot to sip on your cortado, enjoy the Carolina sun and people watch. Banana Dog Cafe exceeded my expectations. The barista was very friendly. Cortados were on the menu. Their logo was cuter in person; who doesn’t love a yellow lab. The cortado was served in an eye catching disposable cup. Generally, I prefer my cortado in a glass or mug and so I don’t normally notice disposable cups, but Banana Dog’s cup stood out to me. Overall, Banana Dog Cafe was my favorite cafe in the Outer Banks; which a pretty big deal because there are some great places there. The Outer Banks has a laid back quality, the cozy and peaceful setting of the cafe, and the delicious cortado culminated into a lasting positive experience. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

This charming little coffee truck in the parking lot of the Wild Horse Inn is already a Corolla cult classic...and with good reason. The coffee is the best you can find anywhere in Corolla, the baristas are unfailingly polite and although there can be a line, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed making it a worthwhile visit every time. I enjoy all the special drinks when I'm in the mood for a treat, but getting my basic coffee order (oat milk latte) and having it perfect every time for almost half the price of what the other nearby cafes charge has made me a Banana Dog convert for life. Finally, they do a really fun thing where you can buy someone a coffee and indicate who you want it to go to (i.e "the next Mom" or "the next dog owner") which I thought was a really cool and community building idea. I highly recommend Banana Dog to coffee loving vacationers and locals alike. Can't wait to go back!

Banana Dog Cafe is, without a doubt, the cutest place to get coffee/breakfast treats in Corolla! Sit under the shade tree out front and watch people bike and walk by on the neighboring path. Meet your pals there, or strike up a conversation with someone and make a new friend! It’s that kind of place - take in the beach vibes! :) The coffee selections are phenomenal! I had the Dixie Girl, a Double espresso with steamed banana milk, cinnamon, & toffee syrup! Delicious! And to top it all off, Banana Dog is run by the sweetest team of people! A great place to start a day! Highly recommend! (Oh, and pup cups are available for your furry pals! ā¤ļø)

I go to Banna Dog Cafe almost every day in the summer and I am so looking forward to it this summer. It is most definitely 5 stars, and I have no complaints. The service is kind and welcoming, and the setup is cute! It is just fantastic. It’s a cute small pop-up. But yet there is plenty of space to sit. The stickers that they have are adorable. I have one on my computer and a water bottle, people always ask where I get them! They have never gotten my order wrong! They always have a fun atmosphere. You can even walk there! But if not there is lots of parking.

I tend to get an iced coffee or chai tea. If you are not a coffee person, that is okay! They have lots of options. The prices are reasonable! Their drinks are always not too sweet, which I love because I like sweets, but not too sweet. You can always ask for more or less sweetness. I love getting a drink before I go to the beach so I can have a nice cold iced drink to cool me off. Definitely a...
