The Juice Jar — Restaurant in Corolla

I can't say enough good things about The Juice Jar in Carolla, North Carolina! This place has become a cherished tradition for my family whenever we visit the OBX, and our recent visit was nothing short of exceptional. Jeff and his team truly outdid themselves this time.

We placed a rather complex order, including 5 muddy monkeys, an Nor’Easter açaí bowl, 9 breakfast burritos, and 2 wraps, each customized with different toppings. Despite the intricacy of our order, they got it right the first time, even going the extra mile to label each item to avoid any mix-ups.

What impressed me the most was their unwavering professionalism and attention to detail, even during a busy period. The staff handled everything with grace and efficiency, ensuring that every customer felt valued and attended to.

I must give a special shoutout to the breakfast burritos - they were hands down the best I've ever had! If you're a first-time visitor, make sure to try one; you won't be disappointed.

Overall, The Juice Jar exceeded all expectations and left us delighted with our experience. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Five stars...

Been here about 3 times. Never has been the best juice but is the only option on the beach. This time however I was treated so disrespectfully I had to write a review. I waited at the order window for a couple of minutes while the workers called out three pick up orders. I still hadn’t been seen or even asked “what’s up” by that point so I peeked into The pick up window and one of the guys said “excuse me can I help you“. I responded that I was just trying to order and he said that he would be with me in a minute. I waited for a while longer and one of the kids came out to dump trash while I was still waiting then went back inside and still no one came to the window. I waited again then left after another minute or so of waiting. And I will never go back there again. I understand the plight of workers and I believe that they should have time to do the tasks that they need to do but the taking out of the trash after they said they would be with me while I was still waiting was just blatantly and purposely disrespectful to me personally and I don’t get down with that. Ordered 6 drinks for my family, waited in line for 20 minutes and waiting an hour for our drinks. Staff was rude when we asked about it. Slow slow slow Family’s of 8 plus got drinks before us who ordered 30 minutes after us

My response to the owner: Since I cannot respond. Funny how you say you know what my order was yet it wasn’t under my name when you probably went back and looked for an order under Erin. was under my mothers so you don’t know what I ordered. Specifically I ordered. 2 paranas, 1 mango banana, 1 zen, 1 strawberry mango, and 1 acai bowl.

There was at least 12 orders behind ours all serviced before us, I was there exactly an hour. We ordered regular menu items. Maybe if your employees didn’t have a dog in the kitchen that got out they would have been more tentative.

At a SIT DOWN restaurant I except to be there an hour +. I worked in restaurants for years and get smoothies regularly in beach towns. Never have I had to wait an hour for a handful of blended fruit. The rest of the island does a great job on...
