Boondocks — Restaurant in Corona

Food is typical pub fare. One server was serving about 15 tables. Somebody was unable to come for their shift. But the server that was there, was super helpful and considerate about my extensive allergies. The vibe is super comfy casual. We were there Saturday night on Memorial Day weekend 2025, and they had karaoke. The karaoke set up is great. The KJ is nice and does a good job, although he does play too much filler music in betwen singers. The line of singers is very long, so filler music is disappointing when you're awaiting a turn to sing. But we got our songs in right away around 9pm when karaoke started, and we sang twice in about 2 hours. The vibe is sweet and fun. The patrons were friendly and supportive. We live in the Palm Springs area, and while we have so much to see and do there, I want to come back here...

Worst staff ever. We sat down for abt 5 min with no help or greet so I sent my husband to the bar to order us some drinks. As he was at the bar, a server came up (assuming she was going to take our order) ...No, she told me someone was already sitting at the table we were at and told us to move. I said ok there are tables with no chairs..she got rude and pointed at an area and said can you just move there. I sd ok so am I supposed go up to the bar and order our drinks or are we getting a server. Her tone got loud and sd no I will come and help you, I've been busy. First of all that place is really small and I did not see anyone being served. This place is obviously for "regulars". Stay away...

Mary Cardenas...security politely escorted you out after you were pushing tables and knocking things over. You were also very disrespectful and foul mouthed. We heard you throwing around that you were in the military. If that is true and you really did serve, it doesn't show. Speaking as a real (combat) veteran who served in the Marine Corps Infantry, you are a discredit to the rest of us. I'm glad security kicked you out. As a matter of fact, he showed great restraint and patience with you even as you returned and tried to bribe your way back in with cash. When you were denied, you became assaultive/aggressive. He could have (should have) pepper sprayed you several times over. Count...
