Prior to choosing uBreakiFix, I actually chose service at the Apple Repair Center located at 1845 University Ave, Suite A in Riverside, CA.
I visited the listed Apple Repair Center about 5 months ago. I was originally pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the customer service provided and the assurance of quickly/same-day resolving my iPhone’s screen issue; however I was extremely dissatisfied with the service received: I paid $200 for a screen repair and $20 for a screen protector. Immediately after picking up my phone, I noticed that no screen protector was actually installed. A few days later, I noticed recurring issues with my phone screen; it would just go black randomly during use. I assumed this issue was simply because I had my phone repaired utilizing a non-apple screen and that it would just be something I had to deal with. A couple of months later, the screen gave out completely.
I recently was serviced by UBreakiFix, whose experienced technician informed me that the screen replaced at the Apple Repair Center was a very cheap knock-off. I ended up choosing service from UBreakiFix, and they quoted me $220 total for a premium new screen that offers incredible response time and quality, a privacy screen protector that they actually installed, and a warranty.
I do not doubt the happy reviews that the Apple Repair Center has received; however, I personally can only recommend uBreakiFix not only due to the poor quality of the other business, but because of the stellar services and prices of...
Read moreIncredibly rude and unprofessional experience. I called to report that a repair they had done was failing and is actively falling off of my phone. I requested to have it fixed. The representative immediately became defensive, insisting I’d need to pay out of pocket, something I repeatedly had to assure him I was fine with and found to be an odd warning... However, I also mentioned that if the part was still under warranty, I’d like it replaced under that coverage.
As I offered to check my email for the repair date so that I could confirm the warranty, the representative became agitated, cut me off, snapped at me, and demanded my phone number so he could look it up for me, even though I was already in the process of finding it myself. Admittedly, I snapped back and hung up.
The repair quality is terrible, and the customer service is worse.
DO NOT COME HERE!! Rude and the repairs fail eventually, something that doesn't happen if the repair is done with quality OEM materials. I would know, I used to work in this industry.
Edit: to be clear, the warranty is expired, and I would have been fine paying out of pocket, but the representative was rude, kept cutting me off, and was all around someone I wouldn't TRUST with my devices. So...
Read moreMy Pixel 6a needed a battery replacement covered by Google. I called this location one morning to check if they had the battery in stock and they said yes. When I got there, it was actually reserved for someone already. Abdul created a work order for me so that he'll call me once another was in stock. I thought that was good because at another location they didn't do that for me. One week later I get the call that the battery is in stock. I went in the next day and they were able to complete the battery replacement in 2.5 hours despite being busy. The phone came back with no issues as far as I can tell. I think I got lucky with them since the Pixel 6a battery is rarely in stock. If you aren't too far from this location, ask if they can create a work order for you like they did for me. Otherwise, you probably won't get a battery replacement for another 5 months or so. The place is clean, has some seating, and a TV in case you wanted to stay and wait for your repair. It's in a plaza with restaurants nearby in case you don't want to stay and wait. Overall, I had an amazing experience at this location given...
