EDIT: The owner and employees were very kind and apologetic, and made good on my bad experience. A++
SECOND REVIEW: Let me start by saying that I'm a regular to this tea place. I live very nearby and go there often, usually multiple times per week, sometimes even more than once per day. That said, I have been predominantly pleased with their customer service and product. But I went there yesterday, Jan 16, 2021, and my experience was the worst I've received since I started going there one year ago.
First, they made my son's drink wrong. This is a drink we've gotten there before (my son latches on to a flavor and gets it for weeks before switching to something new), so we knew what it should look like. I watched the gal make it and could tell it was wrong, but thought maybe it was someone else's drink, so I didn't say anything until it was set in front of me. I told her that it wasn't what we ordered, but they kept arguing with me that it was, that THAT'S what it looks like if you add cocoa powder. No, it's not. We've gotten this drink many times before and it NEVER looks like that. It looked like (and seemed like based on me watching her make it) that she only put in black coffee and cocoa powder. It was supposed to be a seafoam cream coffee. They reluctantly remade and, what do you know, when it was made correctly it looked the same as all the other times we ordered it. At least they remade it but I could have done without the arguing.
Then, they placed my thai tea in front of me. Their lid machine has been having problems for a while and it was especially problemsome this day. The lid did not look 'stable', like it could pop a leak at any moment, or, at the very least, cause trouble when I inserted the straw. I explained my concerns but they just kept saying it WAS sealed and they were SURE it wouldn't leak. They turned it upside down and while it didn't leak in that moment, the entire lid bulged like the whole thing was about to explode open.
I just left when I realized that they just weren't going to replace it for me, frustrated. And just like I thought, when trying to insert the straw, the lid failed and I had to pour the contents into a different cup. Maybe not the end of the world but it's the principle of it. I knew the lid was wrong and asked for it to be replaced and they refused. That bothers me, especially with me being such a loyal and frequent customer. (pics are included)
I will continue to go to this tea place because, really, they are fantastic -- one bad experience won't stop me from enjoying their delectable wares. I just wanted to bring it to their attention because I really don't feel I was treated properly. And how else will people learn if problems aren't brought to their attention?
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This place is fantastic. Not only is their tea so very good, they have super awesome customer service. They're often busy and there was an issue with my order. When I brought it to their attention, they were very kind and understanding, and fixed the issue immediately. My fave is the Honey Milk Green Tea with Golden Boba! A great addiction that's...
Read moreThank you for being open on Thanksgiving Day!!
Went here with my cousins and sister for an afternoon treat on Thanksgiving Day. This was the only boba place in the Corona area open that was close to us and I am so happy it was! I ordered their signature milk tea, regular (100% sweetness), with black boba. 5/5, mine was delicious!
To be honest, I have absolute no idea what my cousins or sister ordered.. maybe you can guess in the photo?...
I did want to add that my sister was feeling a bit too adventurous that day and decided to try a new drink but she did not like it. Which 1) wasn't their fault 2) she's the pickiest eater in the world 3) she hates the flavor of tea yet she orders flavored fruity tea drinks? Doesn't make sense. Anyway, I say this because after my sister mustered the courage to apologize to the staff for not liking the drink and wanted to order something else (she gave the drink back to them after one sip lol) THEY MADE A NEW DRINK FOR HER WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST. Okay, now THAT is customer service. That was really nice of them!!
I have been here once before prior to this visit, and my drink tasted just as good and consistent. My cousins and sister like Sharetea more, but I personally like Ding Tea more because I prefer a stronger tea flavor in comparison to a more milky flavor... they prefer more sweet/milky/fruity flavor.
Overall, I am boring and only order house milk teas/signature milk teas/the plain old boba milk tea but I have tried MANY different tea shops and I will say as of right now, Ding Tea and Teaspoon are my favorite places to get boba. I definitely will be coming back again when I'm...
Read moreI ordered for curbside pick up and nowhere in the order did it say that I needed to call the store to let them know I was in front of the store let alone where I was supposed to park but I ended up parking in front of the store and nobody came out I had to go inside. At least that is what the staff told me to do after I called to figure out the reason behind my order being delayed. Doesn't make sense to park infront of the store in the red while there was a cop there so I can get a ticket.
In response to owner: Hello, I did not get a text message to let me know my order was ready. I got an email that said due at 12:02 with the receipt. I suppose that was the time it was going to be ready? I waited till 12:15 never saw a staff member come out of the store to look for the make and model of my Car in which I provided when asked during the online order. I was parked right in front of the store. I feel there was a lack of clear direction to the staff and customers. Because I did call store and asked the staff what was the protocol for curbside pickup. And the young lady said I needed to call and let them know I was here. Different from what you the owner is advising to the customer. Your team should be on the same page. And also with...
