If I could choose negative points I would. Everytime I visit...the Sprite in the soda machine is gross soda water, and they make some excuse not to fix it. But the worst visit was last week. I am an Uber Eats delivery driver. Since the drive thru line was ridiculously long, it was 7:55pm so I went to go inside the lobby (since I saw many customers inside eating). The door was locked, but I saw a customer walking out, when he opened the door, I walked in. The lobby closing hours were clearly stated to be 8pm. Since I wasn't placing an order, simply walking in to grab a customers order so I can be on my way to deliver, I was astounded when the manager came and rushed me and blocked me from entering (even though I was inside...so she basically started pushing me backwards with her body) and she started to exclaim loudly "Were closed! Go to the drive thru!". ME: Politely I informed her I was picking up an Uber Eats order, and it should be ready, could I just grab it real quick? MANAGER: Rudely she keeps yelling and repeating herself "We're closed! GO TO THE DRIVE THRU!" ME: "the drive thru is very long ma'am. And the door says 8pm, it's 7:57" as I pointed to clock on my phone. Mind you, I walked up at 7:55, and have been pleading to get in for 2 minutes at this point. MANAGER: "IF I LET YOU IN THEN I HAVE TO LET EVERYONE IN!" ME: looking around behind me* "There's no one else trying to get in, and now we've been arguing for 3 minutes, I would have been in and out and gone by now" (now everyone eating stopped to look at her screaming at me)
Disgruntled, she lets me in, but keeps yelling at me that it is 8pm.
I walk up to the counter, where the Uber Eats order has been sitting on the counter this whole time. Under my breath I said, "It's not quite 8, I don't know what clock you're looking at"
And she freaks out. "I DIDNT HAVE TO LET YOU IN HERE. I CAN MAKE YOU LEAVE RIGHT NOW!!!"
Working in customer service for over 10 years, I was completely flabbergasted. I couldn't believe I was getting yelled at by a manager who was being completely disrespectful. From now on, I won't take any orders for...
Read moreI’ve been to this McDonald’s on three occasions and each time I’ve had a poor experience. I try to avoid it but sometimes it seems convenient when I’m at the Walmart in the same parking lot. The first two times i went, the wait was extremely long - around 30 minutes. I understand that they may be short staffed or extremely busy, so ive given the benefit of the doubt. I’ve worked in food service and sometimes it’s extremely difficult to keep up with things so i understand.
However, my third time around was much speedier. I had ordered a $2 slushee they were advertising on the menu and when I got to the window I noticed the receipt said $2.89. I know it’s not a big deal, but I did want the small so I asked them why the price was wrong. The young woman at the window took the receipt and walked away and quickly returned. She said it was the right price. I said I ordered the small and she shook her head and said “oh well”. She handed me the food expecting me to leave but I kindly asked that she resolve the issue since it seemed to be a simple matter. She called the manager over who seemed to think we were inconveniencing her. 89c is not a huge deal but it was the principle of the matter, and that I received the wrong item. She said it was the right price for the size we received and said she didn’t care what the sign said. She took back the drink and simply poured it into a larger cup, instead of correcting the issue. She was shockingly rude and was telling us to leave.
It didn’t seem worth it to give us grief over such a small issue and I can’t see how she thought it was proper to basically tell us that it didn’t matter we were charged wrong. Scroll through some of the reviews and you’ll see it’s not a singular incident. Plenty of folks have had issues with the manager. Maybe they were having a bad day, but their problems seem to be pervasive from the top down which means it probably won’t be fixed anytime soon. Cross the street to in n out where they are much friendlier and much more organized. I wish I had had a better experience, but I won’t...
Read moreThis was the worst trip to any fast food establishment I have ever experienced. Upon entering the drive thru I was immediately at the speaker, I was asked to please hold on a sec. No problem I get it they could be busy. After 15 minutes and 3 cars being pulled ahead of me from the second speaker that mind you arrived after me I drove forward cause you know maybe my speaker could be broken. A full hour passes and I am finally at the window. I am greeted be an apologetic young man who quickly takes my order while apologizing over and over. I tell him it's ok. He begins running around like a chicken with his head cut off frantically trying to catch up. Almost in tears Poor kid. Then what do I see but a miserable older woman yelling loudly at him, gossiping and carrying on to what looked like another manager, touching her nose, mouth, ears and then her mask over and over (gross even before covid) she is for at least 10 minutes standing in the same spot laughing and chatting it up.this place is so busy and behind what was she thinking?? I am so disgusted I video her cause I'm turning her in to her upper management for this awful despicable performance. I finally get my coffee there is no ice no coffee only cream and caramel. So I asked him to speak to the manager and who else but the unhygienic nasty lady who was yelling and gossiping the whole time. She approached the window with a nasty attitude and flagged me out of her line like my complaint against her was null as she was the manager and no one was going to get her in trouble. I'm so disgusted and will never visit Mc Donald's...
