Me and my husband loves Indian food. So far the best Indian food we had in my husband's hometown Stockton. We used to libe in Yorba Linda and there is not much Indian place that we could really say is the best. We even tried the one inside the Wholsome Choice store it was ood ut nit exactly close to perfection.
We moved here in Corona a month ago and when we saw this chain we were so excited to try but nervous at the same time. Why?! Because there were so many indian restaurant/fastfood that doesn't habe this really authentic taste ans texture. And Punjabi Tandoor wow us.
We thought that this is just like the other average or something like hole in the wall type of place. BUT it is not. Many restaurants when they are about to close mostly they will just warm up their food or not much left of variety. But Punjabi Tandoor always serve fresh food. Like really fresh and hot. Very tasty and the texture is not too thick of a sauce and not watery. It was really perfect. Even their rice taste so good. I saw like a tine black dots or i should say indian spice that they put and it makes the rice smells good and taste so good.
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala and Chicken Makhani (i forgot the last one but its like a butteres chicken)
So the next day we couldn't forget and get ober how good their food so guess what?! We are coming back tomorrow.
As for customer service people doesn't seem really friendly. I guess because they are ready to go in an hour and tired. But they didn't show any bad attitude they ready dis their job very well. The place is not fancy it like fastfood look but clean. Overall I love their food and my experience here.
This will be our new favorite...
Read moreNot sure what all the 5 star ratings are but people must have horrible taste in Indian Food with there 5 star ratings of this place. Ordered 5 different dishes from Chicken Makhani, Chana Masala, Matter Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Vegetable Biryani, Garlic Naan and the Portions are made for Children. The prices are ridiculously high for the taste, size and quality of food. The garlic naan is missing even cilantro and seasoning while it's short stature and lack of substance left wanting for more at $4 a piece. The mattar paneer was bland and spiceless. Chicken Makhani only had it's enticing color to provide attractiveness but lacked in all other aspects from flavor to quantity. The vegetable biryani lacked in the vegetable department, and was sadly disappointing. The chana masala was the only thing worth trying with some flavor but the small portion size and lack of any side rice dishes with any of these items left me wanting more for what I had just spent quite a bit of money for to feed 2 adults and a child ended up feeding just 1 adult and 1 child. Will not be back there are FAR BETTER INDIAN FOOD restaurants in the area with better prices, better food and worth the extra drive to get good food. Will NOT...
Read moreI bought a chicken tandoori and they just put everything to go when I never said it was to go. I open my food to see they just gave me bunch of small dark meat pieces. I told them I dont eat dark meat at least give me 2 white meat breasts thats supposed to come with a full chicken.(They put half or full on all orders of chicken) They claim its half or full order of pieces and not half chicken or full chicken.. then they tell me chicken tandoori is all dark meat but chicken tikka is all white meat so I ask for them to switch it. In response the whole family comes to the front as if Im insulting them. The guy tells me he "already cooked". And basically tried to stay quiet for me to go away. Anyway I dont think a refund or just a switch of chicken shouldve caused them to stress as much as they did. Thanks I will not be eating your food...
