I have been coming to Miguel's Jr for many years. Today was the worst experience I have had. Went through your Drive Thru @2320 Compton Ave in South Corona approximately 9:50 by the time I left it was 10:05. Your drive thru team member was Very Rude to me. After I asked her to verify my order, she says let me know when your ready and shuts the window. I was prepared to pay at that moment. Then when she did come back to the window I handed her my cash of 11.00 with barely 2 fingers tips And 6.00 of the money fell to the ground. She says oh its under your car And says again let me know when your ready and shuts the window.. that was #2 of that comment and I was now upset. Once I collected the money from the ground I literally held it up to show her I was ready..she opened the window collected my money asked if I wanted salsa shut the window then returned to the window with my receipt, change and food. I asked her for her name she said "I don't want to give you my name". I drove away. Please note: if team member was so afraid of collecting my cash then she should of had Gloves on. This person was wearing black hoody type of jacket with blue shirt she had a bandage on one of her fingers. It is hard to get employees these days but you don't Need someone like this working for you. Thank you! Sadly I will be going to other Miguel's locations in the future just not this location! So...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time I have ordered tamales 3 doz for after Christmas I thought they were so good last year that I ordered them again for my family. What a major disappointment ! This time the color was there for the beef but you hardly tasted the beef as it was almost all maza the same for the chicken tamales. Everyone asked if this was the same place as as last year’s. and I said it was. I apologized to my guests as they were amongst the worst tamales I have ever had and they all begrudgingly took only a couple of bites before I told them it was ok not to eat more. I put them in the freezer when my family left but realize nobody wants to eat them. They came wrapped up individually and looked moist.I served them after picking up my order. I don’t understand why they were like all maza tamales with a touch of meat coloring and only a tiny bit of meat. The tamales were a huge disappointment. I wish they would charge more and make better tasting tamales that actually had...
Read moreYou really can't go wrong with Miguel's Jr. This place is a staple of the Corona/Riverside area and has been a favorite of mine since childhood. I've never been disappointed by anything on their menu, but I rarely ever feel the need to order anything aside from their BRC burrito. It's amazing how delicious something so simple (beans, rice and cheese) can be ! One warning I will give is that though their hot sauce is delicious, it can be a bit on the acidic/burning side (would definitely tread carefully if you are prone to heartburn !) .
Anyway, chances are that if you live in the IE then you have tried this place at one of their many locations across the region. Otherwise, try a burrito from here sometime and see why this establishment has been a success for all of...
