Complacent taqueria. I can't say with certainty "go there." I went the first time this past weekend. I placed an order to go. The place could use a little updating. They did have plenty of TV screens with a live soccer match playing. The customer service was so-so. I didn't feel like they truly wanted my business. The lady who helped me was polite but not smiling. As soon as I finished placing my order, the lady went back to talking with her coworker about their personal life. I ordered two bean, rice and cheese (special order) burritos, six tacos, and one carnitas burritos. The bean, rice, and cheese burritos were good and made like I asked. The carnitas burrito was not that great. The meat was not as soft and moist as it is at other places, and lacked some flavor. Concerning the tacos: 1 carnitas taco had the same issue as the burrito; 1 tripas taco was really good--the tripas were crunchy and flavorful, and not chewy; 1 al pastor taco was good and I could tell had plenty of pineapple; 1 buche taco was good also; 2 cabeza tacos were a disappointment--they were bland and lacked most if that cabeza flavor that we all know about. I wanted a lengua taco, but they didn't have any but I don't know if they ran out our if they don't offer it. They provided some chips and salsa with my order and they were good. The prices for everything were reasonable. The food portions were also reasonable. Overall, this place is OK, but if you want excellent costumer service, and good carnitas and cabeza, then go...
Read moreHaving my car worked on and needed to pass some time til my gal could pick me up. What a surprise find. I have always loved exploring obscure hole in the wall restaurants, and came in for a beer, and ended up ordering lunch and a pitcher. You would never expect that this was actually a sit and dine place. My daily special Chile Relleno, and Cheese Enchilada combo rocked. I was lucky to have walked in when I did, because the place got packed for lunch and I had a great table. I highly recommend this place. If your looking for upscale, this is not the place for you, but if you like the down to earth ambiance, native mexican personas, this place is it. I give this...
Read moreFriday 11/15/24 Early dinner at Tudy's Taqueria in Corona. Craving for their Chili Rellenos; so freaking delicious and savory! This is my favorite restaurant for their chili rellanos, tortas, and burritos. The foods here are so tasty. I used to come here a lot with my sister when she used to live in Corona. I credit or blame her for my addiction and craving for this restaurant’s foods, so delicious!
Elizabeth, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers. It’s an older style restaurant decor and played upbeat music.
I recommend trying out this restaurant.
