This was the first time I try this place and I have tried a lot of middle Eastern restaurants since I’m a middle Eastern and I appreciate this food. Comparing the food at this place to other places in other counties, like OC, LA, and SD, this place ranks in the low bracket. For the price I paid I was expecting better food, I’m not talking about the quantity of the food because the quantity was good enough and I had a lot of extra food left, but I’m talking about the food itself. It was not fresh, maybe because I went there at 6pm, but still I don’t think this is an excuse not to offer fresh food. I mean sure if the price for the food like fast food restaurants sure I’m not going to say anything because it will be cheap but the food prices are high compared to the freshness of the food. mixed shawarma plate for $17 and mixed kebab plate for $23 that is expensive food and it was not fresh at all, it didn’t seem like the quality of the meat was bad but the food tested like it was old, the chicken was dry, and the beef was awfully dry, it tastes like it was from the day before and it just got warmed up in a pan, not even on a shawarma tower. Middle Eastern food is not the cheapest, I think everyone knows that but most of the Middle Eastern restaurant in other counties charge almost the same price, maybe a little bit less or a little bit more but most of the places I have tried offer fresher food. The other thing I noticed is that the appetizers like hummus, and sauces like garlic sauce was very sour. Will I go back there? No, I rather go somewhere else and pay the extra $2 or $3 per meal and get fresh food than go here to save $2 or $3 and get old food. I paid about $40 for the food, I would have enjoyed a $15 pizza from a big franchise restaurant more than I...

My wife and I have ordered from this restaurant once through Postmates, and dined in once. We are Pescatarians, and the menu here has a very wide range of options to choose from. The first thing I'd like to go over is the service, though.

We came in during the afternoon, and it wasn't busy, so I can't attest to how things go when they are slammed, but the young lady who attended to us was absolutely fantastic. She was polite, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu items, and overall provided excellent service. That alone is reason enough for us to go back.

As for the fare, this is some of the best Mediterranean food I've had outside the geographic location it originates from. It's one of the only places in the area I've found with Foul Moudammas, their Dolma is out of this world, and their vegetarian plate was absolutely fantastic. Definitely some of the best Falafel I've had, and I was able to introduce my wife to some real Kunafa, complete with rosewater syrup for the first time. She was certainly a fan, and has a new favorite dessert. On top of all that, they even serve Turkish coffee by the pot.

Absolutely amazing restaurant that we will frequent for the rest of the time we live in this area, in addition to exposing our family and friends to this delight of a business. To the owner, chef, and waitress: thank you so much for everything you do, we certainly appreciated the warmth of your staff and the flavor...

This spot was a quick pick for lunch, and I must admit it was the most delicious falafel I've found in the area. Unfortunately, that was the end of the exceptional experience.

The plate I ordered was expensive, and was mostly very small bowls of sauces. I received 3 pieces of falafel, 3 grape leaves (grape leaves wrapped around seasoned rice - which had the consistency of being previously frozen), 3 bowls of a sauce, and a few pieces of pickled vegetables.

I believe my meal came with tabouleh salad and a piece of pita, but I then realized that was not a part of my meal, but rather was a part of another guests' meal. My plate cost $15 - for 3 falafel and 3 wrapped grape leaves and accoutrements.

The restaurant itself was incredibly hot also. The restroom was well airconditioned, but the eating area was not, nor were the multiple ceiling fans turned on. My meal associate had to leave because of how uncomfortably hot it was, and was unable to finish their meal in the restaurant.

All in all, the food seems tasty, but it is exceptionally expensive, not terribly generous and the location leaves much to be desired.

I would recommend, if you do want to visit, just get...

We stopped here for a takeout lunch. We ordered 2 appetizers, a falafel sandwich combo, and a gyros plate. The grape leaves were okay. Felt very soggy and reheated. The falafel appetizer also seems to be reheated. Like they were from a package. As my wife will be eating her sandwich later, I can't review that right now ;-) My gyros plate. Well, as much as I want to give a 5 star review. I just can't. The gyros was tasty, but it was from a package. It is very close to what I get at Walmart. It was still tasty but cooked from frozen. The yellow rice was good. And I enjoyed it. Overall, 3 stars for the food. The staff was very patient with us as we were trying to decide what to order. The restaurant itself was very clean and roomy. They seemed to have a lot of seating. But it did not make it look or feel crowded. A 5 star for the staff and the restaurant atmosphere. Even though I was disappointed with the food quality. We will be back there to try new items!

I was driving through Corona and wanted to take a break so I exited & did a Yelp search which came up with Kebab El Basha and I thought to try it out. What a great find! The owners are extremely friendly. I had a great meal with the Chicken Tawook Kabab. But the really great thing was topping it off with a serving of their baklava, which was just stashed full of pistachios. And while drinks are not on their menu, it’s mentioned that drinks are available. I ordered a Turkish coffee, which was absolutely the perfect accompaniment to the baklava. So for foodies, if you happen to be on the SR-91 near Corona, this restaurant is not far off the freeway. So I’d highly recommend a very short detour and try this place out. Wonderful!
