So my wife has some tasks needing repair at our new home "new to corona." and I figured these are minor things, I will go to ace hardware. It's less then 10 min... Anyways..
All I did was walk in, I didn't eve make it past the strange spinning entrance wheel, before an employee came at m screaming ck s"er f* you! Get out!... Note... I'm on the phone with my wife going over what I'm to be looking for. I pause. And and say excuse me?. He said you heard me mf. So I asked for manager. He said I'm the owner. My wife's like honey what's going on??? I ask her to hold. Shes still on the phone. I tell the manager he must have mistaken identity. He said no white boy it was you. Note I'm 33 and have a career wife and a baby and lovely home. I began showing him my photos of my family, my home, my life and what I stand for as a Christian man. My wife hears it's calmed down. After 20 min he said im sorry, you all look the same"note.. im white my wife is ethnic and my daughter is mixed..I'm American..anyways he said aggressively what you need" i replied nothing now.. staying calm..he went irate and screamed at me for wasting what he called his time. i said calmly I will pray for you and he said f* your jesus, i turned around as a man shook my head and went to another hardware store. Sorry but larry or Harry or whoever the Eastern Indian employee was.. needs to be fired and counseling. I love my county and what it stands for and no citizen should be treated by any employee of any establishment in this manner.
Guess that's my welcoming to...
Read moreBad customer service, I was there today 7/26/24 at 2pm trying to buy a tool so I asked the manager some Indian gentleman ( not trying to sound racist but I just want to make sure the workers there know who I might be talking about and no one else gets in trouble) if I can try out the tool to make sure it was the right one but he said if i opened it I couldn’t return it and I said fine I just want to make sure before I went home and it was not the right one and had to come back I wanted to try it. I think he took it the wrong way and said no that if I didn’t like it I can just go to another store, so I did. I went to MC FADDEN-DALE and let me tell you guys they were all friendly there, I most of spoken with 4 or 5 different guys and they were all helpful they let me try out the tool and actually fix my problem there and they made sure I was all good before I left. Thanks for nothing ACE but I won’t be going back...
Read moreStay away, far away! Ace Hardware usually prides themselves as friendly, neighborhood, locally owned store but not this one. Dealt with two jerk employees and then some older manager who was worse. I didn’t even used to mind paying the higher prices to support local small business but forget it. Don’t waste your time or give them your money.
Adding on to my previous review of this ACE store. I needed some hardware for a project I am working on and decided to give them another chance since it had been a while since my last visit. Let me say nothing has changed. As I walked in and up to the counter neither employee even acknowledged my presence and then I said Hello and they begrudgingly asked if I needed help. Just disrespectful and rude treatment all the way around. So sad for what the ACE brand is typically know for as nice family community hardware store. Take your money elsewhere people,...
