Visited last Friday, I believe around 9:30am, and it was definitely a bit larger than my home Hobby Lobby. My beef with Hobby Lobby is the check out. Do you stand in one line, or is everyone lining up at each register. There's no signage saying what they're doing at each Hobby Lobby. It's normally a free-for-all, and you see people behind you rushing up to other check out lanes and leaving before you. They really need one line for all the check out registers. Anyway, I'm in line between two registers, and it's pretty busy already. There are many people waiting, and one of the women actually closes her register and goes on break. I asked the woman ahead of me if she was going to the next cash register and she believed she was going to be the last person that would be rang up by the woman about to go on break, so, that's when I moved to the next register, BUT, the woman going on break DID NOT ring up the woman ahead of me, so naturally she wanted to be next--this is all happening at the same time, mind you--and then a woman at another register next to me, RENEE, (at check register one or two), very snottily tells me there's one line, insinuating that I'm trying to take cuts. Which was just uncalled for and not appreciated at all. Hopefully Renee checks her attitude. I know she has to deal with people all day long, but sheesh. This is where you work so you're expected to be kind and gracious. Or maybe I'm wrong. Won't bother with this particular location again, and thankfully it's not the closest one to me. Probably just a bad moment for her. We had other help over in fabrics that was very nice. The store itself was very...
Read moreThis store is ridicious and the employees are rude along with the manager Wendy at the store in Norco. I used my 40% coupon earlier in the day and later that night went back with a friend to get something and because an employee had seen me earlier in the day i could mot use their coupon with a friend. Their stuff is way high anyways. I will make the drive to Michaels or Joanns instead. They offer better discounts by far and rewards. All Hobby Lobby employees DO NOT follow their so called rules by far. I used to do ALOT of business with them and on NUMERIOUS occassions I have used their 40% off coupon by seperating my purchase into multiple transactions at the same register at the same time. So if you want a much better discount and friendly employees go to Michaels off the 15 fwy in Corona or Joanns. I will never shop at Hobby Lobby in Norco again and will contact their Corp office and post a warning on every...
Read moreThe store is big and tidy, but I was significantly inconvenienced by a miscommunication from an employee who told me there was 1 line for the register, which caused me to get out of line when I was next. Turns out, there was not 1 line, she only meant for her register and her neighbor. Of course the two rude old ladies who had been behind me just rushed right up, and left me much delayed, having only tried to be courteous. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. Following that, I discovered that the items that I chose were half-price, and I would have bought several more at that price, had there been any apparent signage or indication of the discount. And since I had already been significantly delayed, I was not about to get out of line again to get more. So whatever. Beyond that, I prefer to get my craft supplies without a side if religious extremism. So I don't go...
