The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere feels romantic for couples. Fresh and inviting. The smell inside is that of a bakery and doesn't overwhelm your nose with sweets. The wife and I tried dinner, I had a chicken pablano panini with their signature made in house sauce and the wife had a chicken pesto panini. The paninis were tasty, and filling! I had a dragon fruit lemonade with it and it was nice and refreshing with real pieces of dragon fruit in it. The wife had a blueberry lemonade, she was satisfied with the refreshing lemonade. Fast forward to this morning. Me and the wife wanted breakfast before I went to work. We both got mocha iced coffees and two bacon, egg, and cheese croissants. The croissants were pretty big and the eggs were fluffy. Homemade in house. The wife and I enjoyed the breakfast. The coffee was great. Just don't dunk your straw all the way in, otherwise you'll get a mouthful of chocolate. However, excusable. Wish I could give this place more stars, but I'm unfortunately limited to five. Would highly recommend this nice little cafe if you're in the Corpus...
Read moreterrible coffee. drinks “look” pretty if that’s what you’re into but taste AWFUL. i got a cremé de menth mocha latté with 2 shots and oat milk; it tastes of neither chocolate, mint, nor espresso and was barely lukewarm and the oat milk wasn’t foamed or even slightly aerated. my partner got the cookie dough frappé and it’s very watery and sweet with a soggy chocolate chip cookie on top of cool whip (menu says whipped cream). we ended up tossing both drinks after a few sips. seating is VERY uncomfortable and the tables were dirty even though they weren’t busy. as a disabled person, i was strangely grateful to not be using a mobility device because otherwise i wouldn’t have fit (walker or wheelchair) in the actual shop. i highly doubt they meet the base ADA standards, even as bare minimum as they are. menu is nigh impossible to read and the employees seemed annoyed that we were bothering them. i asked for a glass of water alongside my latté (expecting tap) and was told i couldn’t have it with no ice because the only water they had came from the espresso machine’s...
Read moreI’m a huge believer of supporting local businesses, but I’m really disappointed in Bell’Aroma on Everhart. We were not greeted because they were to busy having a personal conversation. We waiting at the counter for about 4 minutes to get their attention to place our order. We ordered a cappuccino. One of the girls asked the other, do you know how to make one ? They looked at each other with confusion and one of the girls replied I think I can make them. They were having so much trouble so we offered to change our order to make it easier for them and then gave us a blank stare and finally agreed we waited another 15 minutes and they still could not get our order right so we finally just asked for Water. I noticed they had made drinks for other people, and they would just leave them sitting on the counter. Employees with hickeys on her neck and the other one with a wrinkled shirt is definitely not the look I would want for my own business. We will not...
