UPDATE: the turkey was a little dry and it sure didn't help that they forgot to include the gravy. The dressing was a little runny, the mashed potatoes were okay, the pumpkin pies were good, the rolls were okay and the tea was good.
My concern now is that they chanrged us twice for this online order. They said the 1st one didn't go through so we paid with another card. We checked online activity on both cards and they both went through, charging us twice. I called and gave them the information for both cards and they said they'd get back to me on Monday, we'll see what happens.🤞 I'm so done with this restaurant, I just want them to do the right thing and reverse the charges on the 1st card charge. Beware when you order an online Thanksgiving meal from this restaurant and save yourself the aggravation and dissapointment!!
I went yesterday because I had pre-ordered a (cold) small Thanksgiving family meal with an extra pumpkin pie. My pick-up time was at 5 p.m. but we called and told them we'd be a little late because we were picking up dinner at another restaurant, they told us it was okay.
We get there at 5:20 p.m. and I sent my son to pick-up the order. I stayed in the car because I had surgery and need a wheelchair to get around. After 10 minutes, my son calls me and tells me there's a line at the pick-up area but it's not moving.
I called the restaurant to ask what was going on and this manager, Victoria apologized over and over and tells me that it's big mess with the orders, that they underestimated how much they had, that they were filling late orders and they ran out of dressing but an employee was already on his way to another location to get it and it should take 20-30. I asked her if we could just take what was available and we'd be back tomorrow for the dressing because our food was getting cold. She says she's not sure if that can be done and she would ask the other manager. I told her that this whole chaos wasn't our fault. She said it was okay to come back tomorrow. Fifteen minutes go by and I call my son ask him what's going on now, that the manager said she was giving him what was available and we could pick-up the dressing tomorrow.
I call the manager again and she said that she already had the dressing containers in her hand and she was about to give them to my son to send him on his way. Another 12 minures go by and I called my son again to ask him what's the problem now. At this point, he's frustrated.and so am I. I call yet AGAIN and ask to speak to a different manager, Ashley. She assures me that he's already got the order and is coming out now. We'll it was almost 7 p.m. when we finally got the order.
We get home and all along, it wasn't the dressing that was missing from our order, it was the mashed potatoes. And of course, we were missing the gravy. Just goes to show you how uninformed these people running the restaurant are, theyre clueless. We were able to pick-up the mashed potatoes today. We didn't bring up the missing gravy because they wouldn't have had it today and we struggled to get the dressing.
I was so happy and excited because my sister highly recommended them because she's ordered from Bill Miller's before but then again, every restaurant is different. This was my first time ordering my Thanksgiving family meal from them and it's going to be my last. I'm going to stick with Cracker Barrel, I've ordered from them in the past and they've never dissapointed me.
I just don't understand how they are so unprofessional and take from the pre-orders that should be ready and available for customers for pick-up to fill orders from perhaps procrastinators that wait until the last minute. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE on the part of management. This restaurant's owner should really be more involved and know what goes on in this place. I will update this review when we eat the food, hopefully they won't...
Read moreGot to the restaurant at 8:20pm. Employees kept passing by as we were standing there waiting to order along with another couple. They didn’t alert any team members in the back that people were waiting to order, acted like we weren’t there and it seemed like they were already shutting down the seating area line for ordering. 10 minutes later, a girl with blue hair (very nice) came to the front once she noticed we were all standing there and proceeded to take everyone’s order while no one helped her. My boyfriend ordered the 2 chopped beef sandwiches and I got a chicken sandwich. We had to wait for the sandwiches so we got our drinks and sat down. 5 minutes til 9 (closing time) the other couple asked the same girl for an eta on their order since it had been almost 30 minutes. The girl went to go check and came back and said that the cooks never started the order and asked if they wanted a refund. I told my boyfriend that we should just go get a refund as well since they more than likely didn’t make our order as well. The girl went to go get her manager and her manager proceeded to tell her everything she did wrong in front of us customers. Very unprofessional and management of the manager especially since he obviously allowed the front area of the restaurant to be closed before regular business hours. Being the only manager on duty isn’t an excuse, do better by your employees and don’t degrade them in front of customers. Stuff happens and orders get forgotten, but don’t blame your employees for not being able to run things smoothly under pressure as a manager should...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bill Miller’s Bar-B-Q in Corpus Christi, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. From the delicious food to the exceptional service, everything was top-notch.
The Wrangler Plate with brisket was perfectly cooked, with the sauce complementing the smoky flavor of the meat. The sides of pinto beans and hash browns were hearty and flavorful, just like you’d expect from great Texas BBQ. And of course, the sweet tea hit the spot, refreshing and not overly sweet, the perfect pairing with the meal.
A special mention goes to Noah G, who provided exemplary service. My father, who is hard of hearing, often struggles when ordering or communicating in restaurants. Noah was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to ensure my father’s experience was smooth. He took the time to explain the menu options clearly and always made sure we were comfortable. His attentiveness and kindness truly made our visit memorable.
In a world where customer service can sometimes be hit or miss, it’s refreshing to see such dedication. I highly recommend Bill Miller’s Bar-B-Q for not only their great food but also for their outstanding service. Thank you, Noah, for making our family meal even...
