i don't just eat to live, i live to eat great food!! Golden Crown in is at the tiptop of my Chinese cuisine list. on friday the 11th i strolled in at about 1230, no wait, tables were marked off and the restaurant is social distancing. other than these small changes, the rest was as suberb as always. i ordered the lunch special, which they have many to choose from, vegetable beef is what i chose, the least priced one. with it came, egg drop soup served with fried won tons. the only soup i order is won ton, the others i do not care for. but, upon further review, this reviewer loved it!! Both items tasted as if they were freshly made. it looks a little runny, but the flavors are so good together with the crunch of the won tons.. soo good. my entree came, i ordered it with steamed rice but fried comes standard, and it was right out of the pan hot!! the steam was rising from the plate, as she put it down i could tell this meal wasnt bulk made and served as needed. this was cooked to order. i was shocked. cooked to order at lunch?? i was expecting soggy veggies, with no crispness to them, they were not. the sauce was super good, and the beef, tender and delicious. i ate all of it cause it was so good i couldnt put any of it in a togo container to reheat later, it wouldnt be this good ever again!!!! the menu is illed with chef entrees ive never heard of, with all the usual suspects on the menu u expect from a chinese place. i HIGHLY recommend u give it a shot when u have a hankering for chinese....

So I returned to the restaurant where I presented the soup to the manager with the bug in it and demanded a refund and she stood and argued with me for about 5 minutes over driving back home to retrieve the rest of the order in order to refund me. When I did return with the rest of the order to obtain my refund, another customer was receiving her food. When the topic of the bug in the soup came up, the manger lied to the customer saying each bowl of soup is made individually and that a bug must have been in the cup before pouring out the soup I had ordered. I've never seen a bug burn itself alive and dive into a bowl of soup. And if there was such incident, how could the person pouring the soup into the bowl not notice a bug sitting in it? When the other customer next to me requested that she switch out her soup for another kind, the manager requested that she pay extra for the substitution. I understand accidents happen, but to provide such horrible customer service upon inconveniencing a paying customer who came to your business and serving them tainted food and then on top of lying about the incident to not only them but other customers is...
