Eddie's Bakery and Restaurant — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

My wife and I went today for late breakfast. I asked the server what type of fish was in the fried frish plate , she didn’t know . I asked what the carne Frita plate was , she said a skinny piece of meat . I ordered the Piccadillo plate with hard fried eggs . My wife ordered chicken and waffles with whipped cream . I got sunny side up eggs , I sent them back . My wife noticed they didn’t put her whipped cream but put strawberries instead . The server didn’t bring butter or syrup either and left before we could ask for some. My wife then noticed that the knife that they put on her plate was dirty with mustard and crumbs of some sort . After all of that happened I could be patient until I saw they are serving and using obviously dirty utensils. When I told the server she didn’t seem to care . I asked who was the manager wand was told we are all managers. Great food usually and great prices but the service is always off because you have 2 or 3 different people serving one table . After this occasion we will not return . We wasted our Sunday brunch and had to end up grabbing some fast food because of time restraint. I would Not recommended this place based on hygiene alone . Out of all of the time we have went to this place is has always been that you have to step on trash under the booths because they don’t sweep. I usually wouldn’t complain but the dirty knife was...

Today in the morning i had woken up early to have breakfast tacos from eddies, ready to have three of my favorite tacos and i went ahead and called in the order while i got ready so that i could go pick them up and be able to have a good breakfast from there. Well i then went to go pik up my tacos and drove knowing that my tacos were right as usual. Well on the way to dropping off my friend at work she went ahead and started to seperat our tacos, we had one of each. She then noticed that the tacos of lengua didn't have beans in them and then noticed that the tacos of carne asada didn't have cheese in them either. I was very dissapointed, so i called and spoke to a lady named Pat and mentioned to her about what had happened and all she could tell me is " on your next visit we will credit you the cheese and the beans', I was very upset because i had paid for the tacos to have everything in them and then to be able to have a good breakfast and then for this to happen, I mentioned to her that it wasn't right because i paid for a taco to have everything on it, I didnt just pay for the beans or just the cheese Eddie's has officially let me down. ...................................MY BREAKFAST HAS...

Ive been going to this place for years and never had an issue the staff is amazing but today this new employee, a young african american woman with braided hair served us and seemed like she was annoyed about us or something outside of work. We told her our order and she was a little confused with one of the items I ordered and told us "I'm gonna need you to pull up" with an off putting tone. I brushed it aside but after we ordered and got our food we were missing a hash brown. No big deal mistakes happen thats no issue. But when my wife went In to get it the girl gave her this ugly side eye look like she had an issue with her for NO reason whatsoever thankfully the lady that helped my wife was very friendly but she couldn't help but notice the gesture from the back of the store. When she handed her the missing food she didnt even give eye contact or apologise like a professional employee would. We were friendly with her the whole time, thanked her when she handed us our food and did nothing to her. I'm not sure If she just doesn't like white people or shes just having a bad day but I hope she either learns to treat everyone equally or gets help with what shes...
