Went July 6 for a late Saturday lunch. Girl that helped me seemed passive-aggressive. Seemed annoyed but pretended to be nice/neutral (even then, it was just common courtesy). She asked what sauce for the spinach, and I said just a little bit of orange miso. She put way too much. I told her "that's good." She continues finishing without acknowledging me, then asks what I said. I told her I said that's enough (not that it matters at that point). Then she asks what sauce for protein. I'm looking up at the menu to decide, and she says, "It's listed there," and points at the glass. I'm like, "Yeah, it's up on the menu too." As I tell her zesty mango, I notice she's already putting sauce in. I asked that was it she put in. She said Hawaii Poke sauce and that they have to put it on beef tataki. Weird. I don't know if she messed up and played it off because she put the sauce on without thinking or if that really is what they do there. But as my experience goes, that's what they do there. If so, why? I should have asked, but I felt very awkward. Also, when I asked for the zesty mango, my husband told me later that she had a slight "ugh" face. Again, why? I don't get it. Anyways, so my poke was drenched in sauce in the end. I sopped it up napkins, but it was still drenched. Kind of hard to sop up with so many little items in your food. I see others had good experiences at this place and with customer service, but I felt very unwelcomed. My husband had tonkotsu ramen. He thought it was okay, wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. We will likely...

Meh. Ordered pick up from here on DoorDash. I actually meant to order from the one on Saratoga which I have been to before but figured it wouldn’t be much of a difference. not accurate. the one on Saratoga has way fresher ingredients seems nicer and has better service. This one was just kind of blah overall.

To be clear, the fish was fresh and tasted good but a lot of the other ingredients could’ve been much better specifically the mango, which actually still had some of the peel on it, really concerning for a place in south Texas and I ended up having to throw a lot of the mango away.

The most irritating part was I asked for a lot of sweet-and-sour sauce and I was pretty blatant about how much I asked for. I specifically said a lot and enough to drown the eggrolls in because a lot of places do not give enough sauce and my bf really REALLY likes sauces lol. They only gave me one extra sauce and these are in like the tiniest little like less than an ounce containers and both were only half full. I understand that a lot of places are weird and stingy about giving out sauce but seriously you can’t give me like a dollar or less of sauce for free? When I’m paying $26 for a freakin meal AND adding tip on DoorDash it kind of seems insane that I can’t ask for a few extra cups of sweet and sour sauce. I wouldn’t even mind paying extra just give me what...

I recently had a terrible dining experience there! I ordered a bowl of ramen and an ice water as my beverage. The water was in a large container and had lemons added to the water for flavor. So I depressed the spigot and poured myself a glass of water which was delicious and refreshing. Shortly after I sat down a man walked out of the kitchen and gave me my bowl of ramen. He then walked back into the kitchen and came right back out with an empty water bottle that he had just finished drinking. He then walk over to the water container and stuck The Empty Bottle over the spigot and refilled his water bottle! So the bottle he was just drinking out of he then proceeded to stick it directly onto the spigot that myself and other people would be drinking, and gave it not a second thought! As a matter of fact he then sat down in the dining room and played on his phone as he enjoyed his bottle of water! My stomach immediately turned and all I could think was how many times had he already filled that water bottle? I pushed the bowl of ramen away and went up to the register to notify the employee who was also sitting and playing on her phone! I then explained to her what had just taking place and said the container needed to be cleaned and sanitized and she just brushed me off and sat...

I truly enjoyed this restaurant and their spicy ramen (added shrimp). I was a little disappointed that my ramen egg wasn't presented in the traditional half shape (with a light texture in the middle vs boiled) but no worries this egg packed a big punch of flavor!! I love how they presented the toppings and the sweet corn paired perfect with this slightly spicy ramen. I found myself eating everything and drinking the juice after everything was devoured. I docked 1 star for the shrimp being overcooked and not having fountain drinks (all drinks were in bottles or cans) but I specifically like my drink with a cup of ice, and not a full explanation of the menu. It was hard to follow along the ramen options or to know what was specifically in each bowl. However, overall for this plate, the added shrimp and an order of egg rolls (2) I paid $30 and some change. I'll definitely go back and try another ramen.

Be prepared for a little information overload when you walk in to order a bowl at the counter at this place. You order in five steps and each step gives you plenty of options to customize your bowl. Step 2 is important as this is were you order your protein and the proteins at the top are raw. I did not know this and am not a raw meat person. If you scroll dow to "cooked" then all the cooked meats are below that. I have posted pictures of the steps to assist. It's a good place to mix things up. Not many Pacific islander places in corpus. I did feel person behind the counter was a little pushy but will try this place out again.

We love this place! They have the best Curry ramen in town. The spice in the soup is just perfect. The egg is cooked so well that the yolk tastes creamy, and the steak in the Ramen is always so tender. It's just the best. We love it here. They have poke bowls and a mini little buffet for the kids to get something as well. They have a good variety of bottle and can drinks to choose from. They also have some flavored water you can get that is infused with fruit and mint, which makes it really refreshing. They have Boba drinks too, which taste really good. It's definitely a great place for everyone to enjoy.
