Been a while since we went to the Pizza Hut on 6537 South Staples in Corpus Christi. The atmosphere and service were enough to make me never return back to this establishment. There was only one older gentleman (Bill) waiting on all customers who came in as well as , getting drinks, bussing tables , and getting bar drinks because the bar area was closed with no bar tender. Bill also took your payment and tallied it and brought your receipt once you were done . No music playing , no tvs on . And this was a Friday evening ! I saw 2 different groups of people walk in and leave because the bar was closed. I watched as several people sat for an extended period of time waiting on the one waiter to get to them . Several tables were piled high with trash and food from the last people who ate but unfortunately the one guy on the floor was too busy running back and forth. You would figure at a pizza place, you would be asked if you wanted parmesan / crushed red peppers if none was already provided for you on the table but that was not the case this evening . So to not to bother Bill ,who was diligently being a one man show on the floor, I went and asked the one other employee I did see in the restaurant for parm and crushed red peppers. As he stood there doing absolutely nothing at the register since the time we got there he looks up at me and said ,"Bill can help you." He then proceeds to yell for bill while Bill waits on a family who had been sitting there for a good while waiting to be served. Instead of saying let me go grab you some, he begins yelling for bill from across the restaurant. Never once attempted to clean off a table, pass out a menu or help out and take a drink order. Just , sat there behind the counter asking people if they were dining in and asked them to seat themselves. Pizza Hut definitely needs to do some serious looking into this entire restaurant staff . I vowed that i will never buy anything there again. I am a loyal customer and the staff know me and my husband well, but everytime i go there i encounter a problem with Paula murphy. She is always trying to report the staff members and get them fired. I bought a large thin crust pizza and 12 piece traditional bone in wings which i paid for with my credit card, upon leave i asked nicely if i could have a little ranch on the side to dip my wings in and she shouted at me “ No we don’t give away anything free here” i said well usually when i buy wings anywhere a ranch is complimentary, she was stern and decided she qould not give me even though the work was willing to, now as a manager ur job is to diffuse the situation and please the customer who spent their hard earned money with u... so i stayed to her i can go to mcdonalds and get a ranch free she then stated “ Well this is pizza hut” this bitch is dumb as fk . Who made her manager? I had to give her a piece of my mind. This woman is a shame to society and a disgrace to the company. The number one rule to good customer service is to put the needs of the customer first and make them happy and give them a good experience. This sorry bitch is prejudice and a damn thief. Read moreWalked into Pizza Hut, there was but two tables being served, yet no one ever attempted to serve us even though we had been seated. After 15 minutes, I asked the bartender if we could get some help (he said he’d get somebody)— but again, after another 10 minutes, no one paid no mind to us. I got up yet again, asked a waitress for help, she said she’d be with us. 10-15 minutes later nothing. Over 30 minutes, and we hadn’t even been asked what we’d like to drink. If I was an owner of this restaurant, I’d be infuriated to find out that who ever my Management staff was, would allow this type of service to my customers.
An experience like this can cost a customer to never come back. So how many more customers are your employees costing you as a business? I don’t typically leave reviews like this, but I felt the people who run this establishment should know about how the employees conduct business there.
