McDonald's — Restaurant in Cortland

I've been stopping here for years. I go inside or threw the drive thru, mostly afternoons or evenings. I must say the last 2 weeks is a big improvement. It's so nice to get waited on with out an attitude from the manager and employees. Or a long wait time. I understand some thing are made to order. But 20 minutes is ridiculous for fast food. Arbys is faster than that. I'm glad to see less of the old bad staff and more new smiling faces. Shout out to the newer manager with the dark hair and the dirty blond girl always working hard in the afternoon. Thank you, keep up the good work. It's not unnoticed. I recommend giving this McDonald's a try. Newer remodel and very clean inside. I can't wait to see the outside landscaping when it's done. Great job Cortland McDonald's. You have made my life so much better and the shake machine is always working now. I'll be in everyday to get a vanilla shake and a burger. Even if I have to wait 2 or 3 minutes. At least it'll be fresh and not 20 minutes. Or...

Ad in window stated "Buy 1,get another for $1.00". I specifically asked the young lady if I could get the Value meal and then get $1. extra sandwich. She had me wait while she checked, came back and said Yes I could. I proceeded to order 2 value meals and 2 $1. sandwiches as well. Had to repeat the order 3 times before pulling up to pay. $25.+!! I knew to expect a little more as I asked for large, but not that much. My order was completely wrong and I couldn't use meal as purchase. Manager came and voided items with an attitude and left. Paid and pulled forward to get 1 sandwich in a bag, 1 sandwich, 2 reg fries in a different bag and 1 drink. It took another couple of minutes for her to actually open the window and us to say again that we were owed a beverage at which point she reached right next to where she stood staring blankly and handed us our drink. Unabashedly rude. If you don't want to work then stay home. I'm sure there are innumerable standbys that can fill your vacancy and utter those most incredible of words, "may I take your order"? If your milkshake machine is down 4 or more days out of each week, then do us all a favor and remove milkshakes from your menu please, since you waste customer's gas idling in Burger King's drive-thru ordering the milkshake you simply cannot provide for whatever reason that ends up being. Also, how many times have I went through the drive-thru an hour before closing time, and was completely ignored service altogether? More than once, and that's unacceptable. Literally, no one responding to my calls at the intercom. Absolutely no one in sight at the pickup window. So I called them on the phone right there, to no avail. If only giving zero stars...
