This is for sure one of my favourite places to eat in Corvallis, especially of the places on Monroe Ave. If you have gluten/wheat allergies and/or you're vegan/vegetarian, this place has got you covered. Most of the dishes are customizeable to some degree, too. This particular Café Yumm has some access challenges if you're not able to go up stairs, as much of their seating is on the second floor. The first floor fills up fast during the lunch hour, so have a friend save a table while you're waiting in line, if you're able.
This Café's staff is always very friendly-- dare I say they enjoy their job? Hardly conceivable in the service industry... Well, if not, they fake it quite convincingly. I've also never had a messed-up order here, which is impressive given how busy they can get.

UPDATE: After 55 minutes our utensils are delivered! Too bad our food is gone, I learned how to use a paper cup as a fork!
Just ordered via Grubhub for a board meeting- our plan was to have a working lunch. Our food was delivered right on time but we have no utensils!!
We called Grubhub who told us to contact Cafe' Yum. When directed to Cafe Yum, we were told that "this is why we don't do delivery." Because they were understaffed (her words with a sigh), they would "try" to deliver us some utensils but we were told no promises. It's been about 45 minutes since and there is no way for us to eat our food during our meeting, which is a bummer.

I work in an office and we had an order for several Yumm bowls. We tried to run our order through GrubHub and due to an error, the order was set for pick up not delivery. After waiting a very long time I called Cafe Yumm! directly and spoke to either the manager or owner. He said GrubHub was a 3rd party service and there wasn't much they could do to change the order on their end, but that he'd be happy to run our order out to us!! He was here within 20 minutes, food in hand. We were all BLOWN AWAY by this excellent customer service, especially considering the error wasn't the fault of Cafe Yumm!
