Was accused of bringing in outside alcohol with out any evidence or anyone as a witness to it and threatened to be arrested. Did not get to finish watching the game. The only thing we had was what they served. The folks behind us did leave a empty container that the security insisted was ours with out any witness. They didn't allow the fans sitting near us to answer the questions about it. They ran my id and claimed I had an arrest warrant but if I left they wouldn't use it. That was a bold face lie. I then left cause it was a no win against enforcement. We knew that they hoped we would be dumb enough to drive. We got in the car to get our valuables and walk to someplace to eat. Here they came from every direction. The supper cops providing law and order. So they not only ruined our game, lied, then treated us like we were stupid and kind of badge bullied us with piss poor police work. I truly think they violated our rights. Maybe. The no outside alcohol rule I understand. But the lack of manners is BS. One would think that they would check for that when fans enter the stadium like every other event. But that would make to much sense and not as much crisis. Just a thought. I respect our police and the tough job they have. Just saying I can't support rude and unprofessional police work. Ruined my whole experience with out any consideration for our rights.Im sure that they prefer to have alcohol banned so they don't have to deal with it. Lazy. Baseball an beer are like ice cream and apple pie.The revenue created is important part of helping Beaver Baseball success. Shame on security not doing the job. My last game I will go to at...
Read more3 star rating is for concession prices. We had fun. Staff was helpful and polite. There were a lot of alcohol drinkers in the family friendly section we were seated next to. Staff did what they could, but that section continued to fill up with booze. If that would be an issue for you, take note. The extra recognition they had for local businesses was super cool. Parking was easy.
Concessions on the website say partnered to provide affordable family fun. Thought, how bad can it be? Hotdogs/corndogs $4 regular sized. 32 oz soda was $5. A pretzel can be $5, but with cheese its $6. A kids meal is $4, but is just a pb and j with fruit. The concession girls actually said the sandwich, applesauce a spoon and napkins. I wouldn't call that a meal.
My opinion is based on my family of 4 and me being a tightwad. If we were doing the bare minimum it would be a $100 night. I cant call that affordable family fun compared to what $100 has done for us...
Read moreWoW 😱!!!! Home of the 2018 CWS Champions, OSU Beavers....... Out of all the teams that could have won, our team in Corvallis, OR brings home the trophy 🏆. SEC who? lol 😁, seriously was in awe waljing into the stadium for the first time, and my boy (hopes to play for the Beaver's in about 3 more years) was playing for the Mid Valley Southpaws, was playing the hometown favorites Corvallis Knights. We almost beat them too!! The stadium, staff, entertainment, and just the overall excitability was all top notch, and even the bathrooms were clean. Got to even walk down on the field after the game, where family's brought their young ones to run the bases! We might have lost the game, but won so much more just watching my son down there in the dugout, and after the game on the field for a picture with his Dad. A #1 experience!! Highly recommend coming down to Goss Stadium for a game, here at Oregon State University....
