I’m giving this Chipotle three stars instead of one because I find the staff to be friendly and hardworking and the place is rather clean, but in other respects this location seems poorly managed. What finally motivated me to write this review was a recent experience when I ordered a water with my meal. The drink machine was broken, and so the cashier explained they had no free water to offer. My only option was a $3 water bottle. It seems to me that if a restaurant truly has no other available tap to offer complimentary water, the water bottles should be given for free. More generally, I have found this location always has machines out of order (Ice machine is almost always broken, now the whole machine) or items are out of stock. There’s no lettuce. There’s no rice. They’re out of sour cream. Every time you go, there’s always a lack of some item. I know the pandemic created supply chain demand problems, but I don’t experience the issue as regularly anywhere as I do at this Chipotle location. Today with the water bottle issue, the staff agreed the bottles should be offered for free and I suggested they make the recommendation to managers. If they don’t feel comfortable doing that, I hope one will see this review to create an overall more positive...
Read moreHow dare an organization allow a store manager to speak negatively of a former suicidal person. To mock, belittle, shame, or berate someone for being suicidal in the past? I'd rather eat at any establishment rather than support a chain that portrays itself in such a manner.
I have been depressed to the point of considering suicide before too. And I came through, and I got better and I hope and pray to God that if I can do then other people can do it too.
For a manager to publically speak negatively of a hopefull applicant is petty, inconsiderate of a huge worldwide issue, and frankly shows a VERY bad image to college students, community, and the Chipotle francise.
I really couldn't care less if they don't want to hire an applicant, people lose out to other applicants all the time.
BUT to publically say "I'll never hire you because I was told you were suicidal"?! Think before you speak. That opinion didn't need to be voiced and now that person is depressed again. Well done. Very well done. Spot on guys. GREAT job with your public relations.
I'll never eat at a Chipotle again and will actively speak to friends to support...
Read moreThis restaurant was so horribly disgusting with filth, I was scared to eat my food. There were used face masks on the floor in the lobby that looked like they had been there all day. The window casing above the food was so dirty I drew a heart in it with my finger. We had a hard time finding a table to sit at, that wasn’t filthy. There was food on and around the soda fountain station. The employee was handling our food with bare hands , and there is no way the floors have been swept in two days. There is petrified meet and beans everywhere. I said something to the employees and one of them started laughing. One asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager , and I’m pretty sure he was the manager. The man making the food had the most negative crappy attitude I’ve experienced in quite awhile. This place is so dirty, I’d expect it if it were Times Square NYC at 7:30 on a Friday. But this city is only 80k people. There is only five customers in here. I now know why. I’ll will never ever be...
