The shower water is barely lukewarm, you have the mix incorrect to save yourself on a hot water bill, but it was very cold for my 80-year-old mother.
Despite the fact that when we made the reservation and had specifically asked about the hot tub to make sure they had one, when we got there, we discovered the hot tub was out of service. The front desk said it was just “not up the temperature yet”, leaving us to believe that maybe it had just been cleaned, but after reading reviews online, we discovered that it was been broken down since December. In messaging back-and-forth with some of the staff, one of them finally admitted in an email that the spa and pool has been closed down since mid December, but they only admitted this after I told them I knew it would’ve been broken down for two months already. Before that, they tried to claim that we only made the reservation the same day that we checked in and they didn’t have enough time to call us and tell us that the spa was not functioning. But that of course was a lie because they knew we were coming specifically for the hot tub and they should’ve told us when we made our reservations over the phone and the pool and spa have been in operable since December. My 80 year old mother had surgery today and the one thing she wanted to do the night before was sit in a hot tub and relax and then take a hot shower and she could do neither because you’re staff lied to us about the hot tub and the swimming pool. Sure, you have a hot tub and swimming pool but they have not worked since mid December, so they pretty much lied by mission so they could get our reservation when we absolutely would’ve stayed somewhere else so we had use of the pool & the hot tub. We paid $179. because you had an indoor pool and a hot tub and we didn’t get to use either because they were broken down and Steve purposely lied to us by not telling us, but they’ve been broken down for months! We deserve a partial refund .
The refrigerator was full of water.
The USB charging station did not work at all, we tried plugging it into multiple outlets.
The cookies were so old and disgusting, but I can’t believe you even serve them. No I can’t believe you even bought those cookies. We stay at the Comfort Inn and Albany all the time and they bake fresh cookies every evening, and you guys serve some generic store-bought crap.
They were several hairs in the allegedly clean bathtub when we arrived.
There’s wallpaper peeled off the wall of our room, as well all they horrific, horrible patch job in the third-floor hallway that you see immediately when walking out of the elevator. It makes it seem like a very cheap, shabby hotel. There’s many poorly patched holes in the walls, there’s a spot on the ceiling where the paint is cracked and about the fall down maybe where it was put over a screw or a nail? The people who been repairing your walls are patching where it screws of been incompetent. Apparently they have no clue how to level a patch and then make it blend in.
We were on the third floor and of course we didn’t notice until we laid down in bed that one of the beds had a streetlight shining in the window all night long!
The bathroom was freezing. There should be a heater in there. So the water in the shower is lukewarm, I believe you said it like that on purpose, because the hot water in the sink was nice and hot so the only way the shower could be lukewarm like that is if you set the hot & cold water mix incorrectly.
We were just extremely upset about this room, the lack of a hot tub and spa and no hot water in the shower was just not acceptable and the more I think about it, the more I believe we should receive the full refund, not just the partial partial refund we requested and were denied.

Read moreI have never left a poor review in 30 years of travel but after this past trip I feel obligated. Multiple things were not pleasant but a few must be written. To start, our toilet broke the last night of our stay. The desk clerk said he didn’t know how to fix it, the hotel was a high occupancy thus he wouldn’t move us, therefore we would have to use the one locked bathroom in the lobby for the rest of our stay. We were located on the third level in the rear back half of the hotel. I cannot believe there is not a maintenance man on call/staff for a hotel of that size. Secondly, the pictures on the website do not represent the actual rooms, which I is why I choose this hotel vs another, half wall separating suite space from beds, large coffee table etc ferry disappointing when restaurants are not open and we have to eat in our room each night now over our beds instead of the large table we were supposed to have. And last upon checking in I was asked if we had children staying with us to which I replied no. Yet they placed us next to a room with a crying/screaming infant (god bless those parents) keeping us up multiple nights. I thought asking that question might afford us the luxury of a quieter section of the hotel. We asked for nothing the entire stay, nothing extra at all. The pool and hot breakfast were closed due to covid, understandable, but indoor plumbing, quiet hours, and the room that we thought we were booking from your site, from your pictures would have been appreciated. I think compensation at least for the bathroom...
Read moreI traveled this past weekend with my elderly mother-in-law for our very first vacation together we made the mistake of not preparing or considering the fact that she was handicapped so when we got there mobility was a huge issue in the room and on the way to the room, the room itself was beautiful and staff was nice When she decided that she was having difficulty getting to the room and functioning around the room, I went late first night and discussed with the front desk, woman about our situation and our problem in the end requested that if at all possible could we switch rooms to a handicap accessible room , she said that they were sold out, but she would continue checking to see if somebody would be willing to switch rooms and to follow up in the morning, which would’ve been Saturday with the gentleman when I woke . In the morning bright and early, I went down to discuss with the gentleman now on shift about the room situation. I was pleased to find out that he already had a solution and that we would be able to move before noon. Excellent.! Our pleasant surprise our room is actually ready by 10 AM and we were moved downstairs to the first floor in a much bigger much more beautiful room directly across from the pool area and we moved to this part of the hotel. We were able to move closer location and get to it much easier it Was a blessing all the way around and we are very grateful to staff at this hotel for being so kind and compassionate in our situation Thank you for the bottom...
