My husband and I ate here for Valentine’s Day. The place was empty, as in we were the only customers. I have no idea why it was so empty because the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. We got an appetizer of their chicken toquitos which were by far the best I’ve ever had. They were full of savory, moist, very well seasoned chicken. The fried tortilla was thin and so perfectly crispy. It came with lettuce,sour cream, and guacamole (which was also perfectly seasoned). Oh, and the chips and salsa served when we were first seated, were also very good. The salsa wasn’t spicy, but still so flavorful (they did have a spicy version). My husband had a tinga tostadas dinner and when he started eating it seemed a little hot but The more he ate it was burning his mouth by the time he finished just one tostada he couldn't get the burning to stop. The waitress came over and asked if something was okay he said no this is the hottest food I've ever ate and I don't want anymore. She then proceeded to keep asking him if he wanted another dinner we said no at least three or four times. We just told her to give us our check and we wanted to leave. She's then came back and said that the cook said I should have asked you if you wanted hot or mild well it's a little late now. I would never recommend this place to anyone. This was hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in Corvallis so far- and I eat a lot of Mexican food. Our waitress was so incredibly kind, genuine, and knowledgeable. She was helpful and checked on us multiple times. Our drinks were full and the environment was comfortable and clean. She was great to talk to, and left us with smiles on our faces. The food was great quality and the portions were HUGE! There was so much flavor in the salsas and our meals. The prices were fair and affordable, especially for how much food we got.
