China Wok — Restaurant in Coshocton

First time going to this buffet. Was open as of may 2 2022. Had a pretty good time. Friendly staff. Decent food. We went rather late in the evening. (hour before closing) so the food selection wasn't the best and the food was a little on the colder side BUT, it was still pretty good. Some buffets once it gets cold, it gets hard, rubbery or gross tasting. Not here. Food was still really good. Will go back again during the day when it is a little more lively. One thing I wished all buffets did and not just this one would be. Closer they are to closing and when they decide to stop bringing out hot fresh food is halve the price. Sucks to pay full price for half the selection and the half that is still there is cold. Kinda like happy hour. Most places throw it out anyways. So they wouldn't lose money. There would probably be more people that show up and have a lot less waste at the end...

Not a great selection and the staff were ledd friendly and welcoming than a pit bull guarding a bone. I should have gone to Bob Evans, but I (unfortunately) felt like Chinese. I walked in and the guy just stared at me. I held up one finger and said, "Just one." He looked away and motioned me to the dining room. As I sat, I realized he was standing there,glaring at me again but not saying a word. I asked, "Can I help you?" He motioned like he was drinking and asked, "What to drink." SO....he DOES speak English! At least enough that he can talk without staring at you. They were out of won-ton soup. I waited for about 15 minutes and then asked if there was more won-ton soup. She simply said, "Cooking," and walked away. Didn't bother to tell me when it was ready - and I think they only cooked 4 dumplings. Sigh... Needless to say, I won't...

I’d give them negitive stars if I could. The server has been extremely rude to me since having my son. There’s no changing table so you have to change your baby’s in their car seats on the bathroom floor no highchair or anything was offered to me. She told me I had to put my baby and his carrier on the seat next to me where he took a chance of falling out. And then even though there is still 6 tables open she forced me to put him on the chair after I set him on the floor so he wouldn’t fall so she could seat a table right directly behind me. I will never come back to this location. The food isn’t worth it neither. Half the stuff was gone and no fresh food was out. Very upset she would rather put my baby in danger just to be ruder...
