El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

I feel ashamed to say I'm permanent customer of el pollo loco big bear. This is one of the worst branch of el pollo loco. The quality of food is Zero if we talk about quality with staff they always behaves rude. If I told about ambience of restaurant that is also too bad drive thru section lobby both are in very bad conditions. 1 or 2 months ago the staff is good and they improved the quality of food a lot. But from last month I saw whole staff is changed even I listen their is no manager at this movement. When I ask about old guys I found all of the old members of el pollo loco left their jobs and now new staff is hired which is untrained . I don't know what happens but all the old guys are professional and gud. I miss those guys a lot. I hope #bordofdirectors take this issue seriously and trained new guys as soon as possible and improve food quality so we think about visit their...

Is the food good? Yes! Is it fairly priced? No! Too damn expensive I just wish they would have specials that would allow me to eat there more often because I love their food unfortunately the prices are way too high for what you get.

I can tell you right now there are a lot of people who would eat there more often if you had specials more often and gave us a chance to come back and enjoy the food. I only usually carry about five to ten dollars in my pocket at any time and it's almost impossible to eat and an El Pollo loco for 5 to $10. Just when I had lost hope for humanity i encountered Alexis the cashier that took my order. The order came out to be like a dollar more than what I had in cash and he asked how much money i had so i told him and suddenly he pulls his personal wallet out of his pocket and tells me hes going to pay 3 bucks for my order and that made me smile and almost made me cry because he used his own money didn't try to cheat the restaurant by giving me anything for free or even giving me discount it just showed how honest and how good of a person he is.
