I have been waiting for another good place to get pho near the Triangle Square for a while. I don’t know where to start! as soon as I entered the location, I was immediately greeted and seated. The staff were extremely nice and went above and beyond to ensure that I enjoyed not just my food, but my overall experience. The inside of the restaurant was extremely clean and had a very warm feeling to complement the exceptionally well prepared dishes. There was plenty of natural lighting and it didn’t feel like the overhead lighting was overbearing. I ordered a Thai tea, which isn’t listed on the menu, but it was perfectly sweetened. I go to a lot of coffee, shops and tea shops, and a lot of times I have to ask for reduce sugar, because they often sweeten it, KJB does it right! The egg rolls were mouthwatering good and the crispy chicken and rice was extremely delicious. The pho was definitely made with love as the first sip of the warmed my entire body. There was so much familiar flavor in the combination pho, and I definitely will be back for more. If you are in Costa Mesa and want a quick bite to eat, I definitely recommend stopping by on your way through, you won’t be...

I’ve been eyeing this Vietnamese spot in Newport for a while, and today—slightly hungover—I finally made it in.

First win: parking was easy and free, with a lot right in front of the restaurant. When I walked in, it was busy but not packed, and I was seated right away.

I ordered the #1 pho combination and the spring rolls, and let me tell you—the pho was life-changing. The broth was crystal clear, not overly oily, and packed with deep, rich flavor. Every bite was exactly what I needed. The spring rolls were freshly made, with crisp veggies, juicy shrimp, and tender pork, all wrapped up perfectly. I also tried the Vietnamese coffee, and if you know, you know—it’s strong. If you need a serious pick-me-up, this is it.

Jenny, the owner, came out to check on everyone, and she was such a sweetheart as well as the rest of the staff. Her warm energy made the experience even better. I came in alone, but I never felt weird about it—just good food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Highly recommend this spot, and I’m already planning my next visit! They’ve only been open for 10 months, so please come support your...

Oh my god. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful this place is. Service is EXCELLENT, it’s very affordable for the quality, and everything on the menu is a 10/10. Appetizer combo: 10/10. Crunchy, flavorful, great dipping sauces. Crab wonton is the best I’ve ever had (I think they use real crab?) Shaking beef 10/10: tender, flavorful beef. Rice is absolutely perfect. The dark soy/garlic sauce is something I’ll dream about forever Crepe: so fun and crunchy, unique flavors, and awesome fresh veggies to go with it. My only critique are the shells are left completely on the shrimp which probably adds to the crunch but I kept having to pick out shell pieces. Otherwise flavor and execution 10/10 Also the VIETNAMESE COFFEE is the best you will literally ever have. Period. Would come here just for that. Will be returning for sure!!! What a great...

OMG! This place is sooo DELICIOUS!! Their menu is very simple but I bet each dish is very fresh with explosive taste! The owner buys her veggies fresh every night! They even have this mochi dessert stuffed with coconut and mung beans! And it was WARM!!! My Vietnamese husband said their pho broth is really good and he’s hard to please! He also said their Vietnamese coffee is REALLY GOOD! Try their lemonade with salted plum! It’s pretty delicious! It’s a Vietnamese drink! I highly recommend this place! Their OX TAIL PHO is sooo DELICIOUS!! I couldn’t top eating it and the ox tail was so tender and fall off the bone! I just wanted to drink all the soup! Pork and egg roll vermicelli is SOO YUMMYY!! Totally getting this for myself next time! I LOOOOOVE their eggrolls! Their spring roll is soo FRESH too! Really good! Everything here is FRESH!!!!!! Mmmmmm
