This place was so ridiculously rich with flavor! 🤤 the desserts concoctions are very artfully playful and absolutely delicious. Usually, you get one or the other. That was not the case here! You can even enjoy an adult beverage while the kids enjoy their desserts. There are multiple options for beer and wine infused treats. On the service side of things, they were a bit slow and overworked/overwhelmed. There was one person preparing all the orders. Additionally, we felt like we were being held hostage when it came time for paying the bill. It took literally 15 minutes for us to get our bill and pay it. Truly, had it not been for the level of “deliciousness” of the desserts, I would have rated one star.

Had a chance to try out their Storm flavor milkshake today. Wonderfully complex flavor - you can taste the ingredients, chocolate, raspberry, etc that go into the shake and that of the toppings like the brownie crisp. Yum! Easily shareable among two if you're not that hungry, but a full meal if you're starving for a tasty shake. Completely different than the super blended single flavor shakes at Ruby's, which are also great - more complex flavor mix and thicker. One of those shakes that just can't be put down until it's gone! Gotta go try out their new alcoholic shakes, too! Nice place - like a bar, so feel free to hang out and chat.

Delicious milkshakes, and great service. The s’mores milkshake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I don’t like chocolate ice cream usually, so my husband ordered it instead of me. Luckily, he was nice enough to share! It was incredible. Their vanilla based milkshakes just aren’t as good. I had the one with cookies and cream and the cookie dough, and threw away most of it. Get anything with chocolate instead- that’s the best flavor. Only other area for improvement is the lighting and the seating. It’s too dark, and their seating area just feels too cold and hollow. Other than that, great place.

Initially, I had started my order for a Cinnamon Toast Crunch SHAKE and one Captain crunch berries Shake as GrubHub had advertised....

Thank god I decided to call and I spoke to an employee named Patrick who absolutely made my night. Apparently GH didn’t have their updated menu and no longer made the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shake, and the previous Captain Crunch Berries Shake was changed by title and ingredients (to make it even better if that’s possible lol).

Thanks to my calling and speaking with an outgoing, patient, calm and people pleasing Patrick, he not only agreed to make me a better version of the Captain Crunch Berries Shake, with EXTRA CRUNCH BERRIES. Cause as Patrick stated it’s all about chewing and eating the shake before you can drink it. It’s all about a spoon and not a straw. I instantly was no longer bummed out and was excited to be dealt with by Patrick. He could’ve sold me anything since I’m a guy and I just wanted something good. He totally went above and beyond and also hooked me up with the most delicious banana shake I’ve ever experienced and that Captain Crunch Berry Shake is ridiculous.

And I will go back solely because of Patrick and due to Covid, the stress and tension were all Inherently experiencing inside, he had such a level of expert service such as a therapist that he was able to speak to me in the right way that took all the air out of my entitled balloon and my being upset with grub hub. When one wants a shake and sweets and you see it on the menu it’s crushing when you call and are told It’s actually not sold.

Patrick Made it a total non issue and I’m happy to have met and interacted with this gentleman because it’s how he acted. Just as a gentleman. No tone attitude or frustration. Just a true kind helpful person who’s a pro.

Patrick should get a raise and a promotion because I won’t come back there unless he’s there. Flat out. Not interested. He’s the...

I visited The Straw with some friends to celebrate finals! And I have to say, it was incredible. Just entering the place I could tell it was made with love. The decor from various decades, statues/figurines from various media, beautiful pictures and posters, the instruments in the corner, the little claw-machines... As we entered, we were all enamored. Patrick was incredibly kind. We all ordered our various shakes and sat down, and he helped arrange the tables so we could play some of the card games that he had available. He even let us interact with the instruments he had! How I wish I knew guitar. The shakes were clearly made with thought. The flavor profiles of each--and how they interacted with their toppings/sides--were in-depth. However, they were very sweet. Very sweet. Patrick was kind enough to let me try the earl grey shake, which was less sweet, and thus let me enjoy the experience more. I would definitely order again. Make sure to ask about the levels of sweetness to see which ones you are okay with! All in all, this place was amazing. I will definitely be coming back with friends in the future to simply relax and have fun. Maybe I'll learn guitar and play there! This place...

I took my family to this lovely little milkshake shop to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a very nice time. The milkshakes are creative and absolutely delightful to look at. Mostly they were very tasty as well. Our waiter was very conscientious and friendly and made the experience all the nicer. However we did feel that the "Charlie Brown" shakes were a little bit bland. You couldn't really tell that there was peanut butter in the shake. Actually, I couldn't specifically taste the chocolate either. However, we were told to try dipping the salted pretzel, which accompanied the shake, into the shake before eating it...Oh my goodness that was very good! I tasted two of the other shakes that were ordered. They were also good, but not the kind of remarkable taste experience that I was expecting. The shakes were good enough that I would definitely try this place again and hope that with my next experience I might not only enjoy the fabulous presentation but also walk away with a smile on my face over the taste of the milkshakes. This really was a fun experience and I would recommend this place...
