Horrible service. Went in today at 1:21 pm to order my mom a Java Chip Frap. The store was empty. They had more employees than customers. Waited at the cashier for a full 2 minutes to place my order. The employees saw me but all ignored my presence. I had to get their attention by saying "excuse me, can I order please?". Immediately, all of them gave me the look as in I was bothering them. Then one male employee took my order. I thought it was the end of it. BUT NO. There were people came in after us. GUESS WHAT? THEY ALL GOT THEIR ORDERS BEFORE I. At least 5 orders of drinks and pastries. I came up to the "Pick Up" area and made an inquiry of my order, the girl was confused. But when she looked at the cups in front of her, she found my order. My cup was still empty. She found my order by the name on the cup label. She then reached for the blender and poured the java chip into my cup. I could how diluted it was because it had been in the blender for too long. She then gave me the drink without the chocolate that was included in the order. She went back. Opened the lid. Squeezed in the chocolate. Then gave the drink to me. It was filthy. The drink had poured out from the cup and formed two thick lines on it. It was unacceptable and unsanitary. I asked her for a new one. She then poured the existing one into a new cup. I witnessed the whole thing in shock. And the whole time, another person was talking to her while looking at me. I am sure they did that on purpose because I asked to place my order at the beginning. I made a call to their headquarters right away and was advise that a ticket has been sent to the store and that I could get another one at no charge but once is enough. Read moreI enjoy Starbucks every day and 95% of the time I have a good experience. This was not the case today. This morning at 10:20 I visited the Starbucks inside of the Crystal Court mall at South Coast Plaza. I was the only one in the store, and I ordered a tall Pike. I don't order fancy drinks, just brewed coffee. Today, their brewer machine was broken. I totally get it that things break, but this Starbucks needs to train their employees on how to handle these situations. When I was told I couldn't get a simple brewed coffee, I was offered a "pour-over." I told the barista that I don't like pour-overs and that it looks as though I'll have to leave and go to another Starbucks. I fully expected the barista to say she was sorry and to reach for a coupon that said, "The Next One's On Us." She did not apologize and she did not offer me a complimentary drink. I told her that back in the day, when Starbucks cared about customer service, I would be offered a complimentary drink for my trouble. She shrugged and said they don't do that anymore. I received no apology, and when I told her how disappointed I was in the lack of customer service, she again shrugged and suggested I write a Yelp review, which is what brings me here today. Starbucks!! Details matter. Professionalism matters. Customers matter. ...no form or whipped cream, I saw only half cup of white liquid. Went back store the girl who made it was playing with her cell phone. I asked her, I didn’t mean to complain, but there are no form or extra whipped cream. She looked at my cup and said, “.um..I can give you whipping cream but I am sure I made it with whipping cream”.
Then would you just get the whipping cream without excusing? My half cup empty from the begging with I don’t know what they used, but the white liquid tastes horrible, like Powderly, I think owner is very stoic.
And this is what you get when you make your custmer uncomfortable.
Brownie is already cold and smaller than before.. that may not be their option, but half empty cup with no form or whipping cream, doesn’t make me happy. I should went to other store.. instead.. btw, when an Asian girl was there her whipping cream is half cup as well. Asians work so hard to make their owner happy.. sorry that won’t make custmer happy.. no wonder why they got “lowest stars” I’ve ever seen on Starbux branch.....
