Cassini's Pizza — Restaurant in Cottage Grove

I wasn't expecting it to bad but I also wasn't expecting this to become one of my favorite pizza places.

My wife was thinking about pizza for dinner but I really can't stand the local options so we looked to the surrounding areas and decided to try this place. Best move ever.

I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before. It unassumingly sits in the strip mall by Target. Cute little shop. We ordered a few fun sounding pizzas online then I left to pick them up. When I entered the building, three people were working and they all said hello. Like a genuine greeting. It didn't feel like "Corporate told me that I'm obligated to greet customers using a canned response". Anyway, that's besides the point but I guess it's worth mentioning that the folks working here seem to be in good spirits. I'm upping my tip for next time.

The pizza was delish. My wife got a Hawaiian and I tried some BBQ chicken bacon pizza. Each pizza came with garlic butter which is an upcharge for any other pizza place. A nice little detail was the liner at the bottom of the box. This not only helped insulate the pizza but kept the box from getting greasy so we could actually recycle the big box rather than trashing it - a nice touch.

We'll be seeing...

Love ordering from here, we decided to ask for a chicken alfredo pizza and if that was available we were simply told yes after picking up and bringing it home we noticed it also had onions, mushrooms and tomatoes which yes we are picky eaters and were not informed it was not just a chicken alfredo it's a specialty pizza and we were sol not offered a small discount or anything told we can order it again and it's our fault ... I'm not asking for hand outs but we order from here once a week to support a small local business but apparently big box companies take care of their customers better so I guess that is where we will go from now on...

Outstanding Pizza Goodness!!! Awesome pizza! Exactly what I was hoping for!!! Superb blend of tangy legit home-made pizza sauce, great crispy chewy hand tossed crust, perfectly done & generous fresh quality topping galore! (not too much, just right). I got the spicy Italian, (highly recommended!), I had them put the Buffalo sauce on the side. They included the garlic sauce, but didn't need it but I dipped my crust for some extra savory goodness! Yummo!!! I stopped in and ordered at the counter, very quick 15mins done! W tons of other pies going out...
