While I love the pizza here, the service is lacking. Got home with the wrong order. Called the restaurant was told I needed to bring the wrong pizza back up to the store and that they would re-make the tomato basil pizza I ordered. I said ok it will take me 15 min to drive back up there. Upon arriving they took the pizza back that I returned saying it might be someone else’s order… umm gross. I highly doubt that but it’s terrible service to have us return a pizza that was incorrect too. (And I also had pics of my receipt and the pizzas, so I could prove I got the wrong order). The new pizza wasn’t even ready, they started it when I arrived back! So had to wait another 20 min then drive back home 15 min. They did apologize but no compensation, no trying to make it right, maybe a free appetizer or gift voucher for next time?? Something would have been nice. By the time I got back home my other two pizzas are obviously cold and the rest of my family had already eaten. I just think it was really handled poorly. If you go here double check your order WHILE THERE!!! New pizza slid around in the box and looked bad when I got home, just explaining the pic. I ordered: cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza. Tomato Basil pizza and cheese bread. Arrived home with: 2 cheese pizzas, pepperoni pizza and cheese bread. Spent $90

It’s hard to find a quality NY slice outside of the city. Racanelli’s delivers on that big time. Whether you’re going in there for a slice and a sodie pop or taking a whole pie back home you won’t be disappointed. The crust is thin and the edges are chewy and fluffy. Just as it should be. The cheese is the star of the show. I’m not sure where they get it but their mozzarella tastes better than most other pizza joints. Maybe because it’s pure mozz’ and not a blend like most places. Every time I go there it’s a bunch of kids working but they must have been taught well because I wouldn’t know the difference between them and a guy named Vincenzo doing it for the past 35 years. It’s a tad pricy but it’s worth every penny.

I tried this place out for the first time yesterday. It was amazing!! The service was good, plenty of space, a little chilly but the owner adjusted the air, and a wide variety of food. Their salad was a little boring just lettuce, cheese,a cucumber, and slither of a tomato; but the rest of the food was delicious! I chose the calzone. It was loaded with mozzarella and pepperoni (hold the ricotta). My sister chose a stromboli that looked good and she got a slice of pizza and it was so good. We'll definitely be back!

Stop the presses, folks! I recently had the privilege of discovering the pizza paradise known as Racanelli's Pizza on Mid Rivers Mall Drive, and I'm here to tell you it's not just pizza, it's an experience!

Let's start with the man himself, Henry, the legendary "Big/Small Boss." This guy is a pizza-loving force of nature! With his charm and charisma, he could probably convince you to eat pizza every day for the rest of your life. He's the maestro of dough, the wizard of toppings, and the ultimate guardian of cheese.

Now, let's talk about the pizza itself. It's like biting into a slice of heaven sprinkled with cheesy stardust. The crust is so perfectly crispy, it's like a symphony of crunch with each bite. And the sauce? Oh boy, it's like a secret family recipe passed down through generations, making you wonder what magical ingredients are hidden in there. The toppings? Fresh, abundant, and strategically placed with love and precision.

But hold on, it's not just the pizza that makes Racanelli's special. It's the entire team that works together like a well-oiled machine, ensuring that every pizza-craving customer leaves with a smile. They're like a pizza dream team, a squad of sauce-slinging superheroes, ready to save you from the clutches of subpar pizza.

The service? Flawless. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and enthusiasm that rivals a long-lost family reunion. They make you feel like you're part of the Racanelli's pizza-loving family, complete with secret handshakes and inside jokes (okay, maybe not the secret handshakes, but a guy can dream).

So, if you're looking for the pizza joint of your dreams, look no further than Racanelli's Pizza on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Henry and his team will whisk you away to a land of pizza perfection, where crusts are crisp, toppings are abundant, and laughter fills the air. It's a pizza extravaganza that will leave you craving more, and more, and more!

Bravo, Henry, and the Racanelli's crew! You've created a pizza paradise that deserves a standing ovation and a round of applause (or should I say, a round of pizza dough?). Keep doing what you're doing, and I'll keep coming back for more cheesy goodness!

Yours in...

Tried to use the coupon code from their website and it didn't work so I called in and the kid said to order online but bring a printed coupon and they would take care of price adjustment in store (roughly $10 difference.) So I did, and I tipped 20% which was the suggested tip on their website which seems high on carryout, but whatever. I got there and the kid took the coupon, didn't do anything on the computer and just said that the price had been adjusted. I was a little skeptical but decided to trust him. Today I logged in to my credit card online and they did not subtract the right amount from the bill. For two pizzas and an 8 piece toasted rav (no sauce I discovered at home) my bill was still nearly $70. The coupon that was supposed to subtract almost $10 but instead my bill was reduced by $3. That included the 20% tip for carryout which apparently doesn't get you any better service b/c they couldn't even put a sauce in the toasted rav and my pizza was 20 min's later than the time the website said it would be ready. And it wasn't like they were busy. I was only person in there and in the 30 min's I sat in store waiting only two other people came in for carryout orders... On top of everything else the pizza wasn't very good. Very salty. This place is way over-priced for what you get... Lesson learned, I will never order food from here again! Hopefully this review can help someone else make a better decision w/out having to pay to learn the...
