Food was great and generous portions. We ordered various Italian dishes - lasagna frita, eggplant parmesan, chicken broccoli alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan - all were awesome!! Way better than mediocre places such as Olive Garden, and would rival any of the best upscale Italian restaurants that I can think of. Wings, burgers, cheese curds, sweet potato fries, all awesome! Except the cheesecake wasn't very big for the price. Also the onion rings look and taste awesome, they are dipped in what appears to be some type of donut batter, but they were very greasy, when you bite into them it's hard to avoid the unexpected amount of grease that pours out dripping down your chin onto your shirt.
Atmosphere seemed good, although we had a to go order and I just walked inside briefly to get our food. It's the first time I've been there since it changed from being Famous Dave's.
Service was good and staff was friendly. Except we did a door dash pickup order, it was a very large order for about $250. We even tipped 15%, which I feel is very generous for a to go order. There were about 8 bags full of orders and they helped me carry it out to our car, which was nice. The things that I would suggest improvement on is not to double knot tie the bags shut tightly, it took a long time for us to untie each bag to check our orders were correct before we left the parking lot, which wasn't very fun with it being cold and windy and the bags were in the truck of our car. Also it would be helpful if they could somehow label the contents of each bag and/or label each box what was what, which would make it easier to check the order before leaving, because we all know how frustrating it with to go orders to get all the way home (in our case it's about an hour drive) and something is missing or incorrect. If those issues can be improved on, next time I will change my service rating to 5 stars 🙂
Overall it's a great place with awesome food. It has definitely made our top 10 list for this area, and we will be...
Read moreI was excited to finally get to try this place. I've been seeing their ads and photos online since they opened. But immediately upon our arrival Tuesday night things went downhill. I don't recall ever having a hostess this grumpy and rude. I truly felt like I was inconveniencing her by showing up to eat. And it wasn't even busy, there were only 2 tables of customers and a few people at the bar when we got there.
Our server on the other hand was great. She was friendly, got our order correct, and checked up on us.
We ordered a pizza and some wings, after all, it is in the name. The Thai peanut charbuffed wings were great! Loved the flavor and the amount of sauce on the wings. My only criticism is that th÷re was no jams/preserves to dip them in. A spicy Raspberry dip or something along those lines would have made great wings amazing. I ended up getting a side of the sweet chili sauce to use as a dip, and that was acceptable. The pizza on the other hand was not that impressive to me. We got the Blanco pizza and added the chicken as the menu recommended. It ended up being pretty dry, and the crust was an odd mix - it was relatively thick but the bottom was crispy. I also felt the sauce and toppings didn't go far enough to the edge - you can see how much crust there was in the photo.
It is a great looking space, friendly server, nice bar, pool table, arcade, and lots of seating. I look forward to another visit and trying...
Read moreFair Warning: the “Buffalo chicken pizza” has zero Buffalo sauce, chewy old dark meat chicken chunks (added bonus of tendons!) and an absolutely overwhelming amount of bleu cheese (not listed in the pizza description). $25 absolutely wasted. The chicken was chewy and it was clear it had been sitting in a warming station (not hot) for at LEAST a day … our stomachs are still angry about it.
The onion rings were pretty good, they were huge but incredibly greasy still (grease is expected but dripping off it while eating is a bit much) served with good ranch.
The $18 wings (10 total) claim to be “jumbo” wings but the only thing jumbo about them was the flavor and the price. They were good but when you factor in the price it just isn’t worth it.
The ice water was a 10/10 - they have the “good ice”
Service was great which is why I gave 2 stars. Literally the only reason.
The prices are what we consider “stadium pricing” which I suppose is what you get when dining near an event center but they should seriously consider taking $3-4 of each item. C‘mon… $10 for Tostitos pizza rolls for a kids meal 😳
We’ve attempted to dine here 3x - first two was a 30+ minute wait so we assumed the food was really good so we gave it a third shot and it was a huge disappointment. We will never return, not even for...
