Starbucks on Arlington road is a great location and closest to my home. The drinks are normally made correctly but occasionally one is made wrong. The downside to this location is that it is always extremely slow and sometimes the people are rude. I have never got through the drive through in less than 20 minutes even with only three cars ahead and normally when ordering inside it's about a 20 min wait as well. Last time I ordered a drink I was handed my drinks but they didn't ask if I need a straw they just closed the window, so I sat there and instead of opening and asking me anything, she opened the window and stated at me and kind of moved her head forward and shohdkers back as if to say "uhhh and???? Why are you still here?" but did not say a word so I had to ask for straws and it just felt extremely rude. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I'm guessing management here needs some training. It very much seems that ordering is really bad as they are the only Starbucks that are Constantly out of common stuff, (2% milk, Chai tea, and sometimes they say they are out of sweet cream cold foam even though I know it's made there when ordered so they don't have to make anymore). The employees are always so so slow but I think this goes back to leaderships poor training and poor scheduling and poor ordering and lack of support for their employees. Starbucks corporate definitely needs to help that location...
Read moreHighly annoyed this morning after ordering a mobile pickup order on the app just to go to the store to find the door to the inside area locked and a drive-thru line backed out onto the street. I called inside to ask if they are closed inside or maybe just forgot to unlock the door and spoke to a very demeaning employee who informed me that "due to staffing issues related to the pandemic" they are keeping the door to the outside locked and the only option to pick up your mobile order is to wait in the drive thru line. What is the point of a mobile order if you still have to wait in line? It's used so that you can SKIP the line and not have to wait 20+ minutes for a coffee. I use the mobile app in order to make sure I don't have to wait in line and can still make it to work on time. However, that was not the case today and I ended up driving 10 minutes out of my way to not even be able to pick up my order because I did not have time to wait in their massive line (HENCE THE REASON I ORDERED AHEAD). They graciously are giving me my next order for "free" even though I paid for my coffee today and didn't get it. So technically I'm not even getting my "free" coffee either because I already paid for it! Ridiculous! Poorly ran and...
Read moreI ordered ahead on the app. It said 6 to 9 minutes and my order would be ready. I got there 10 minutes after. Sonit should have been ready, right? Drove up to the window. There were 3 girls at the window. They were messing with the rod thst keeps the window closed for about 4 minutes. Laughing & talking amongst themselves. One finally opened the window and asked how she may help me. I said I have a pick up order. And said my name. She then says to stop at the speaker so they can gather it for me next time. They didn't even have anything made or ready. They than started to make my order. 3 drinks, a sandwich, a protein pack and 2 cake popes. Exactly 17 minutes, my order was finally ready. I've always thought when you order ahead, your order should be ready when you pick it up. I've ordered at other Starbucks and my order was ready when it says it is going to be ready when I arrived and not just being made. The only good thing about this visit was everything was correct. As in my order. Definitely will not be going to this one again. The Starbucks on Market Street is much better. The staff is nice, peppy, and on time. And so is the one in Target...
