this place is always awesome. ive been coming here for years now, the staff is always excellent and kind. i fully believe waffle house employees are heroes..!! it is always so busy, but they manage to get you fed quickly. today my server was brandy - if you see this, i hope good things happen for you. the food is always AMAZING, and every time i go it feels like they do it better. im always saying its the best ive had there. it is my favorite and most comforting place to dine at. i never see the same staff twice, and i hope the people who leave have found better things. its a stressful environment, i am fully serious when i say they are heroes. if you eat here, be kind to the staff, remember that your kindness goes a long way..!!! and makes it easier for them. all of the staff needs a huge raise too, they deserve better pay because it takes a special person to handle the stress of multitasking like that. ps: the coffee is the best of any place & literally warmed my heart and filled me with happiness. i am always happier when i leave here. thank you forever to waffle house staff
Read moreI waited literally 20 minutes before someone acknowledged me. There two cooks women 3 servers that were overwhelmed. What was baffling is that the place was ONLY HALF FULL on a Saturday. And i still waited 20 minutes. Lucky a man named Steve was called in and showed only to rescue the table that came 5 minutes before me. Granted... he would not have known that because he had just got there. He was really nice it seemed. Better than the rest who never acknowledged me nor cleared an area to sit. Only problem was he got combative with me over a horribly cooked waffle that fell apart and was 80% the size of what it should have been. He told me... "that's the size of them all!" I cut it in half so he could see the difference and he walked away. So i did too.
The black guy cooking was yelling at the staff was loud as what. And on top of serving that horrible waffle they served up lumpy grits! another lady got mad with them and said "look at this?" Then pulled out huge golf ball out her grits. Lol. Smh
I'll never go back smh. I'll stick...

They were greeted, given beverages and orders taken before one of the servers had to tell my server I was there. 7 minutes before I was even noticed. Four minutes later I moved to a booth and was waited on immediately. Note to Brandi....take care of the customer in front of you...don't make them feel less important than the ones you already have served. At least acknowledge that they are even in your area....for the record, my new server, Diane, was on point and recd a generous tip for her efforts to make me feel welcome and my business was...
