To management of El Pollo loco at 100 north asuza ave, Covina CA, 91722.
I'm not going to beat around the bush. What I'm about to say is solid and Will not take no, for an answer. I visited your establishment to get some food after I was exhausted from a long bike ride to keep me in shape. Fortunately, I was greeted by Gabriela, who was a great customer service contact. The problem came when the two clowns acting as cooks, made some stupid comments towards me. I tried to make comments with Gabriela towards a famous tennis player. (Gabriela Sabatini)... The two ass whippes cooking my orders made comments that I was trying to get freebies by taking to Ms Gabriela. While doing this... these two clowns screwed up my orders (two orders) that I fully paid a bit over $7. Dollars for each day's specials.
I really don't appreciate the smart ass comments from your employees that implied that that I was trying to get " freebies" from your outstanding representative (Gabriela) I am then here to ask that you fire those two cooks as they are not a greatful employees, nor public servers. You and I know that your business comes from public interests. As a former military serviceman form the Vietnam eras. I demand some respect, and the least that you can do....is fire those two clowns. They have jobs because of our national liberties.
You have a business because of the same freedoms.
The least that I deserve, is some respect. Not only because of my elderly age (over 70s) but because of my contributions to the nation, that you enjoy. Anything else would be a violation of penal code of CA 368 and a diversity of subdivisions.
ALL I ask, is to fire those two....in lew of any further legalities.
If you wish to discuss any further....
Please send me a response to this non negotiable...
Read moreI am a long customer of El Pollo Loco! I visit these restaurants several times a month around Los Angeles. But, I have to complain about the customer service is received on this particular El Pollo Loco, I usually use my app to order ahead, however, I eat inside. I informed "Aldren or Aldrin" that it was going to be for eating here! With a miserable look on his face he went ahead and began preparing my order on a tray. I felt no joy looking at this man's face. As a person who works in the hospitality industry I know how important it is to put a smile on your face in order to make customers or clients feel at ease or comfortable. He wasn't much of a charmer. When I requested my drink, he gave me a look as if I was asking him to give it to me for free! Checked the receipt too, as if I was lying! I had also requested 6 avocado sauces on the app, which he only decided to give me three, i hadn't noticed! I asked for serranos, he still stared at me as if it was a bothersome request! After I sat for my lunch I returned for the rest of my avocado sauces and he looked bothered again! I mean, I almost lost my appetite! Just as a friendly advise, send your managers and front desk people to "Charm School" it makes a difference when you smile doing your job. "And Aldrin or Aldren get a different career if you don't like what you do" the customer isn't at fault of...
Read moreStopped by El Pollo Loco on a whim, and I’ve got to admit… they came through. The tacos were fire — crisp shells, plenty of filling, and actually seasoned right (rare for fast food). There was a tiny hiccup with my order, but the staff handled it smoothly without any drama, which honestly says a lot. I walked away with what I wanted, plus a reminder that some places still know how to keep customers happy without making it a production. Solid experience overall. Food hit, service chill....
