My wife and I went for our anniversary on 10/10. We made reservations but we are early birds so we didn't need one. Huge parking lot outside, parking was easy. We sat at the bar which is what my wife and I prefer. Bartender was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. We started with a an Italian red that was very good. The menu was a new experience for us, we were not familiar with "Northern Italian" food. We started off with focaccia bread with homemade butter (Unbelievable) Charred octopus (Unbelievable) local wild mushrooms (Unbelievable) and then we tried two of their pasta dishes the Lumache and Torchetti (Unbelievable) especially the torchetti! We finished with the wild striped bass and you guessed it ... UNBELIEVABLE! I'm not going to be descriptive with everything we ate but everything was well executed, seasoned and fresh. All of our dishes were perfect for sharing.
I highly recommend Rosalies, as far as price, I strongly believe in you get what you pay for (most of the time) and at Rosalie's I have no problem with the prices. Great atmosphere, great staff, especially Logan who was very friendly and well educated on their menu which helped us make our selections and most importantly a great chef! We...
Read moreRosalie's Restaurant I had a pleasant dining experience at Rosalie's Restaurant. The food was not overly seasoned and had a good balance of flavors, without being too saucy. However, the menu was limited, which might be a downside for those who prefer a wider variety of options. The restaurant had a soft opening, which may have contributed to the limited seating and the feeling of a smaller, more intimate dining experience. Staff seemed friendly and while the atmosphere was cozy, the small tables and tight seating made it feel a bit cramped. The prices at Rosalie's Restaurant were a bit steep, with the total bill for two people coming to $183.00, not including a tip. Everything was A la carte, and there was no bread or any other complimentary items included with the meal. Overall, while the food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant, however, the food was not unique or exceptional, the limited menu, overpriced items, and small portions were some of the downsides of my visit to...
Read moreDrink was perfect Service was good and the food was fresh and tasty. Music was not too loud. Linen napkins always a plus.
I’m not a fan of fake butcher block tables or of the many tables lined up in perfectly straight lines There is no atmosphere whatsoever . Cement on cement and tables and more tables
I feel prices are a bit steep for the area and with no bread offerings with your cocktail or while waiting for dinner it’s a bit odd and seems cheap.
There are many enjoyable restaurants in Glendora, La Verne , San Dimas, Claremont etc So there is competition
I will recommend and let others make their own decision
FYI …..I’ve been to the Union in Pasadena. Not fancy but VERY cozy with...
