During the daytime I think this has kind of a nice little jogging trail and the Stage is really interesting but I really haven't seen it used all that much.

My biggest concern about this park is is that the bathroom facilities are disgusting and the park definitely gets sketchy at night, and there has to be some way to deal with the homeless population.

I don't mean to be a person who doesn't understand the plight of the homeless, particularly since many of the homeless are vets who are not getting the help they need. However there are people there late at night who contribute to a lot of potential biohazard cetera in the area.

I hope that the Parks and Recreation Department might be encouraged to t come up with some Progressive solutions to deal with the homeless problem in a humane way and also prevent the risk that is present for homeless people during the night from both weather and crime. What comes to mind are programs that I have seen in East Washington in the Pullman area where they do allow homeless people to spend x amount of nights there a month and there's some regulation and sanitation.

What I do like about this park is the facilities for people who want to have a picnic or something during the day brings families to the area and largely changes the total demeanor of the area. This part of the park is fairly well kept and the playground for the children is really nice. However I would advise people who have children that when it starts getting dark consider whether or not that's the place you want your kids to be.

The area where the basketball courts are however is very well lit and kids do play there in the early need the early evening as well as during the day and it seems to have a very positive influence in the...

This park has changed quite a bit in the last 10 years. We come here because its within walking distance from our home. But it feels as though the City needs to do something about the homeless situation. Theres quite a few homeless people that hang out here. Some of them with mental health problems that come up to you asking odd questions. The city needs to help these people get good mental health services and help them get situated somewhere. Its tough to have a family picnic with this isse as they also hang out by the restroom. Not just 1 or 2 but about 5 of them. The pool has no stable hours posted online so its hard to gauge when they are open for the year/season. What I will say is that the park is clean of trash. People dont litter here or the City is constantly picking up but its clean. Another positive note is all the big trees provide plenty of shade for those hot summer afternoons. I do recommend this park but just beware of people who may approach you...

I have been coming to this park, since 2009.. I jyst love this park, the used to have lions and other animal staues here, that lots of children used to play on.. but are no longer present.. but with all the renovations performed at this park, its still a gem to go to. They have public restrooms, a walking/ jogging track that surrounds the entire park, they obtain a basketball court, a public swimming pool thats large... lots of swings and slides, for toddlers to play on... a family park, that always has friendly people in it. I truly enjoy, EVERYTHING of this public park. Thank you so much, for always being clean and close by to home. A true...

Beautiful park stop to enjoy my double cheeseburger from Covina burgers in front of restrooms under the shade and bald Caucasian guy wearing a black shirt with like a circular design and tan cargo pants stop right in front side of my car and his cute pinto dog took a big turd while im biting my burger and this guy didn't pick it up or even try to hide it . He stopped because the dog stopped him , saw the dog get in position, take his phone out, and pretend like he didn't know what's going on . Walkers beware it's next to the big green water valve just waiting to be stepped on . I can literally see it from car . Anyways the burger was delicious πŸ«£πŸ«£πŸ«£πŸ˜πŸ€”πŸ€«πŸ˜πŸ˜†πŸ˜…

I really liked it here. Ideal place for playing basketball - two full courts and a little baby one. Nice baseball diamond, a huge community pool area that reminds me of movies about the 50s in Brooklyn, and a stage with park benches lined up in front, which is strangely charming. Playgrounds for the kids, horseshoes for adults, and a skating rink for all the peeps who are far more talented than me. I even understand they have summer concerts and movies. So with all of this to do and see, why no five star rating? It's hood, man. Homeless folks all over during the day, and it gets no better at night. But that one caveat aside, this park is dope.
