I have just started going back to Amiciās after they opened their new location. My first visit was great, service was good. Second visit it wasnāt so good, couldnāt get drinks refilled and we had a bit of a wait. This visit tonight was awful. The restaurant was fairly empty but it took us over 20 minutes to get a calzone and chicken parmesan. The waitress was very attentive until we ordered and then I had to wait and wait for a refill. No updates on the food, came by and said she was going to check on itā¦no update. Waited and waited and finally got our food. The chicken parm was very brown on the edges bordering on over done but edible. The calzone was very brown on top and the bottom was black. Every bite tasted like burned bread, it was inedible. They offered to make me another but after the service and wait, why would I do that? They did take the charge off but, as a word of warning, their tip calculator at the bottom of the receipt was for the bill before discounting the meal, not the actual total. I have tremendous sympathy for servers and usually tip at least 20% but tonight I did not because there was absolutely no reason not to check in, give me an update on our foodā¦something! I asked why it took so long and her response was āthey have always been slow since I started working hereā. Its also cold in there with all the glass and I really wonder if I will spend my money there again. I want consistency in a restaurant. I want to go in and know my food will be fresh and good every time. Other restaurants accomplish this day in and day out for years. Come on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis experience is very disappointing from the beginning till we were finally able to pay our bill and leave. This was our 1st and last time eating at this location. To begin, it took a while to get drinks and be able to order. After getting drinks and ordering I sat with an empty glass for a while. The food came and my daughters calzone was burnt, like i can't believe they they sat that down in front of her burnt. Our 3 topping XL $28 pizza barely had any toppings on it. Here's the sad part, the young wait staff doesn't have a chance because the manager doesn't want to actually do his job, never once came to our table to apologize nothing. He walked past a couple times with a sheepish look on his face like he didn't want to have to be the one to handle the problem. Then he sat at the end of the bar chillin like everything is on cruise control at his restaurant. No one discounted the bill after waiting 12-15 minutes for a new calzone even though we were told it we be 10 minutes. The manager seemed to busy dreaming about what tattoo he was going to get on his other calf than handling a simple problem that could have been prevented if he was present in the kitchen and the dining room. For the prices you're asking you need to get it right and it needs to have toppings. This is why Little Caesars is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI honestly tried to give this place some grace since we went after they had recently opened. However, I canāt justify it. They were busy, had very little seating, and everyone sitting around us was getting ignored just like we were. It took our waitress around 10 mins just to come over and take our drink orders. If she had introduced herself, I would call her out. It then took her another 10 mins for her to bring our drinks. My grandparents did not understand the menu. When they attempted to order their dinner, she told us āfine Iāll just come backā in the rudest effing tone Iāve ever heard from waitstaff from Amiciās. After coming back after what felt like another 10 mins, they were finally able to have some understanding of the menu. No one in this establishment seemed to care about people who were sober. They only paid attention to their high top tables. Out of the 4 or so tables around ours, at least 3 of them did not get the right orders. If I could give zero stars, I would. Just go to the Amiciās off the square, as their waitstaff is far more competent and caring, unlike this hell hole. If anyone asks you to go with them to this Amiciās, run. I do not recommend this...
