I love living here at the Cove in Covington . The town itself is quaint and a simple place to live. I moved from a big city in Florida so itās nice to be in the country. Moving here to the Cove was very simple and efficient. The communication I received was outstanding, and I continue to receive good feedback on anything that I need.
I chose a third floor unit studio, and I love my apartment. The only downfall is thereās no elevator but hopefully Iāll be nice and fit from climbing the stairs continuously.
I hope that other people that move here appreciate having a nice place to live. The grounds are beautiful and if those few little people could stop throwing their trash on the ground, it would make it even better also remember to dispose of your pets waste properly.
Construction is still going on so of course there will be some ups and downs to that but Iām excited to see the end results. And I love having my grocery store Publix right around the corner.
(Jan2024) I decided to renew my lease here at the Cove because I have been very happy with living here. I love my studio apartment. Itās perfect for me.
The new management finally, and hopefully they stay have been on top of fixing all the small issues, are very welcoming, care very much for the tenants and property, and have a maintenance team that is very responsive.
(May 2024) I wanted to provide another review in regards to the management team here at the Cove Apartments in town center. I have to say I am truly impressed with the team that they have put here at the Cove. Ayesha, Derek, Tasha, and Renee are a team that works together and communicates to effectively get things done that need to be done. And I canāt forget the maintenance team especially Eric who always is on top of my request and also very friendly.
A few times I had Decided to move into a one bedroom and then change my mind⦠And yes this team was so understanding and didnāt give me any issue about canceling. I want to thank Ayesha, Derek, Tasha and Renee for being friendly every time I stop by the office and caring and even going out of their way to talk to me. Go team , Iām excited to be part of the Cove.
Update. August 7 2024 Just wanted to leave a quick review of the maintenance team for Myles and Eric. I appreciate the quick turnaround time and efficiency to get the work taken care of. And I also appreciate their communication and find them to be friendly...

This will be my last update as we are leaving the community. While current management is pleasant, we feel there is zero care for retention and loyalty. Our apartment is being placed for rent at roughly $1700 for whoever gets it next and we are being told it is increasing another $50 and we already pay well over $2000 a month to live here. For about the same price we are moving to the new town homes next door. I went swimming recently and the pool was extremely dirty and looked like it hadnāt been cleaned recently which is gross considering it is warm out now and getting used a lot. There has been 3 or 4 companies that have owned this complex since we moved in (we were literally the first people to move in when this place opened) and some of the management has been good while others down right terrible. There is no consistency. Overall for the price I am disappointed with our experience. A lot of these reviews are from people who have toured but not lived here.
Pros: gated community with gates at each building that can be opened using an app which is super convenient, quiet neighborhood, very close to a lot of places to eat and shop, highly walkable, close to a few parks and churches, very nice and spacious gym. The parking lot is now fully gated and parking in general has gotten a lot better since they went up. I love being able to walk to Publix and any of the restaurants that are open to the public now!
Cons: Not really a con but a heads up: there is a shooting range somewhere in the area that you can hear, but there is no danger. The church close by does play some pretty heavy bass on Sundays, but unless youāre in a building close to that side of the parking lot I donāt think it would be noticeable. There is a pedestrian gate, but only on the east side so if youāre on the west gate side itās easier to walk through the clubhouse/gym area if you are not taking your car and walking somewhere. The gates tend to break a lot as well and stay that way for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe move in process was terrible! The move out process was terrible as well! The stay was good but doesn't outweigh poor business with management practices.
Moving in- I moved from California and applied 3 months prior to my move, called to check in frequently with apartment updates and was constantly told don't worry we have you assigned to an apartment. Fast forward to move in day- I was told there is no apartments ready and have to wait a week. I had my stuff being shipped from Ca to Ga with an arrival date so this was all very frustrating, unprofessional management and rushed. New management comes and the staff is friendly and professional but business lacks. Tenants who are under the old management contract are expected to adhere to the new management contract as well and the parts where more money is needed is emphasized.
Moving out- I submitted an early termination letter but prior to doing so I checked in with management several times, checked in with Derrick checked in with Renee and checked in with the front door staff, asking what would be due if I broke the lease early and was informed that $2000 would be due with 60day notice. I provided notice of 60 days I moved out and get a bill for $4000. I called and spoke to Renee and she shared that she would get this fixed and call back. I waited for a call back or email or some kind of update but didn't get it. After sending an email to management, I got a call back and was told that they have to adhere to the old contract that I was under, and there was nothing more that they could do as management would not honor what was verbalized to me. This all seems unethical but what's even more unethical is the lack of follow through on management as I paid the full balance right after finally speaking to someone and still was sent to a debit collector. Seems like false reporting if I was waiting for an update from management. My overall point is Management has poor communication and follow through. I feel...
